Laughton broke a finger tonight and is out 4 weeks. Frost SHOULD be the recall, but I won't be surprised if it's Twarynski or some other 4th line guy and they just move Raffl from 4th line to 3rd.
Due to cap space it doesnt seem like anybody will be called up unless there is another injury. Pitlick will just slide into the lineup imo.

Laughton could go on IR freeing up 2.3 million. Christ demote Stewart and call up Frost.

Frost replaces Laughton
Pitlick replaces Stewart

More than 1 way to make this happen. Not for tonight of course, but for Tuesday.

7 game point streak after tonights goal

He’s fantastic and entirely too unheralded. That said, something seems off in Philadelphia these days. From watching their games and reading their forum, the buy-in isn’t regularly there from anyone outside of Konecny. It’s probably a good thing that Frost is being left to gain confidence and experience in a great place in the AHL.

I'm not sure it's the buy-in that's the problem but yes Philly does look better on paper than their record indicates.

Then again they do hold a current playoff spot despite their big 3 having so-so years so far by what is expected of them.

Carter Hart has also been a bit disappointing as well.

Started season in Europe
Then went on a West coast swing
Lost some games where they dominated on the season
Hart is just starting to come around
Patrick yet to play a game....then his replacement Laughton got hurt
5-0-1 since scratching Hagg and replacing with Myers....hmmm.

Most Flyers fans are very happy where we are given that they have played well most games and still have yet to have a full lineup or a bunch of guys playing to potential yet.

Oh yeah....and have yet to get the help from the #2 scoring rookie in the AHL in Frost.

Scary as a Pens fan, but I’m overjoyed to see Myers getting some solid chances. Still hovering only around 20 minutes a game but has great statistics across the board. He’ll be a stud top-pairing dman within two years.

Crazy that Myers went undrafted and we got him....makes up for the Morin pick.

They got blown out by the Isles & Pens when that was said. It’s not a character issue. It’s ultimately an issue that they’re closer to the middle of the pack than they are to the top of the league team.

Some times they play above it, some times they play below it. They’ve turned it around recently including Hart. They’re 7-2-1 in their last ten games.

Their higher end players are getting older & dropping off some. So they need some of these young guys to come in & make up a difference. Farabee & Myers are already up & contributing at higher level. Frost is really the only other guy in the minors with that type of potential.

He can't possibly ask for better wingers for his NHL debut. Now he's gotta make the most of it! Let's just hope his leash isn't too short because that's usually counterproductive.

Philly's roster is deep enough to justify burying prospects like Farabee, Frost, and Myers.

Refreshing to see the team make room for these young guys, especially with Vigneault at the helm.

Let's not jump the gun. I expect Vigneault to ruin their confidence by cutting their ice time pretty fast.

He's provided great playing time and opportunities to young players so far this season so not sure what you're talking about.
