I still think hitting someone in the face with a stick should put you in court, but that is just my opinion. You can keep thinking otherwise.

Bet you are a fan of participation medals too. Bad play by Frost and I am sure he will get a suspension to reflect that, but court?? Wow.

So if I came up to you on the street and hit you in the face with a stick you would be okay with it? Good to know.

So if I came up to you in the street and full on body checked you, you would be okay with it? Good to know.

You see how stupid this is. Comparing something that happened in a contract sport to real life...

When you go into a hockey game you accept the fact someone might hit you. You don’t accept the fact that someone might try to kill you.

The kid was bleeding from the face after getting hit by a stick in the face by another kid. What more do you want?

Try to forget for 2 seconds you are a Fylers fan and that Frost is your prospect. Even better, imagine the Sarnia kid is your son. How would you react?

I mean, c'mon.

"Maybe he did no want to hurt him? Maybe he is a good person? I read the other guy might have been mean to him!".

You guys can't be for real.
Yeah, great argument because that wouldn't cause any bias in a decision regarding the suspension.

There is a clear difference between a bodycheck that went wrong, and a blatant attempt to injure someone by hitting him in the face with a blunt object.

The law seems to agree with the idea there is no difference between "sport and real life" in those cases.

Burnside: Perezhogin's past still present

Don't say it will happen, but I certainly would not be surprised if that is the case. Only needs the player/his family to call the police about it. Looks like there might be video evidence of the assault, so the case is pretty clear cut.

Lol, wtf are you going on about?

Crosschecks to the face happen pretty much weekly. He will take his short suspension and the world will move on.

Really? Weekly people get crosschecked in the face and leave the game bleeding?

Yeah sticks up into the face happen pretty regularly when there are confrontations. Some are suspension worthy. Some are not. This one is suspension worthy. Move the f*** on.

I don't think it's true. Show me an evidence of someone having been purposefuly crosschecked in the face that left the ice bleeding? It is not something usual at all.

You can move on yourself, no need to be agressive. I understand he is a prospect of your team, but still.
