C Mason McTavish - Peterborough Petes, OHL (2021, 3rd, ANA)

Hopefully he will get an opportunity to shine in the NHL next year - the kid has so much potential.

Blue chipper for sure. The Ducks look to have a good set up for the future it seems. Drysdale, McTavish and Zegras as cornerstones are huge. Are ducks fans looking to compete next year or are okay with one more down year to draft relatively high?

Given the sell off at the deadline Verbeek would have to have one hell of an offseason for us to be competing next year. Looking like a tank for Bedard/Michkov season.

A 1-2 punch of Zegras and Michkov sounds insane (which would likely mean McTavish plays on the wing with one of them). Besides Drysdale, I do not know much in the way of your D prospects. Anyone else coming up?

Zellweger, Helleson, Thrun, LaCombe. Guessing we get a defensemen or two with all the picks we got.

They will be in the Bedard mix unless they have an aggressive offseason

one of those players that gets it and is frustrating for others that work their bag off. Has quiet nights but finds his way on the scoresheet

Ducks need another top 3 pick, they have a lot of solid guys but still need one or two more real star players.

Could really use an elite winger or big point producing defenseman the latter we have been without since lubo viznovsky peak season and probably since pronger for a consistent one

A lot of recognition.
