It absolutely is, players who cannot produce at even strength will likely not produce at the NHL level. You then get tagged as a "PP specialist" in junior which is basically meaning you are one dimensional and used sparingly on a NHL roster.
It is a concern if it holds long-term, it isn't a concern when we are looking at a small sample size (8 games). I can't find the breakdown of his numbers from last year, but I don't remember them being fueled by PP to the extent it was worrying.

I'd agree if most of his points are on the PP at the end of the season that it would be something of concern, but at the moment, it's just too early.

Do you know how many ES points he got last year?

Logan Brown is off to a tremendous start. As a Sens fan I am very encouraged. This kid can make plays, has soft hands, as he gets stronger he is going to be a pretty unique kind of force. I hope he develops the good habits and keeps working on his game. It would be nice to see him have a big role at the WJC along with Colin White, Boeser and Keller.

Still following this kid's progression. One of the more intriguing draftees last year, and I am betting he becomes a franchise-level player for the Sens long term (and no, I am not a Sens fan).

As a longtime Windsor area resident, I'm not allowed to comment on Spits players on my home board, because the Knights fans just call me biased and a homer, while they dangle from the teet of Mark and Dale, begging for us to draft every Knight possible, but I've been saying for 2 years that Logan was a special player, and he's really coming into his own.

I get to watch him quite a bit, and it's a pleasure to watch a kid with his IQ/size/skating/skill combo.

Do you personally believe he will become a #1 center?

IMO his release was all about him not being in game shape, and ready to roll at the camp. The US forward group is strong down the middle. Brown had to be at his best to make one of the top 3 lines. He has been out over a month.

I hope he has recovered fully from his injury and is ready to tear it up on the the run to the Mem cup.

7 assists in 4 games since returning from injury. Too bad he wasn't able to make the US team, though considering how the US World Juniors performed I'd say they did just fine without him.
