Draisaitl is probably one of the most dangerous players on the PK I have ever seen

After Kyle Woodlief of Redline Report stated that he'd take Draisaitl over Strome, and now Kirk Luedeke makes a comment like that?

Wow.

Wow Leo the lion. What a talent. His goal today was dirty

Not trading him for any piece other than Jones, Hamilton, Hanifin for going D (not worth a TPD right now)

Had a great game tonight. Really wish Rimouski played the Gauthier line against Drai's line. Some suspect coaching for Rim tonight.

That highlight goal he score, was against Gauthier, so ya. Plus The Oceanic were the away team, so Kelowna had last change.

I think a lot of people mistake him slowing the game down as him being slow or effortless. Hes like a Thorton, you'll never see them turn the jets on unless they're back checking because they never have to. watch drais without the puck and you'll see a long powerful stride but poor lateral movement, the knock on his game isn't speed but his technical skating.

No, I've watched him live a lot since he came to Kelowna. Marvellous player, but his skating needs work. There are like one or two plays a game where I feel he really skates as well I'd like in terms of his speed. It might just be more that he needs to skate to the best of his ability more. Comparisons to Thornton aren't unreasonable though.

He kind of makes up for his skating weaknesses by protecting the puck so well, as was on full display tonight. He continues to show up when the team really needs him. That shorty was crazy good.

LD could become one of the best pk players in the NHL. Already has 5 shorties this off season and some apples. He is such a smart player

Watching draisaitl on that second goal I feel he's really working on his skating.

Go watch his highlights from the 2014 world championships. He's always had good stright line speed...his first few steps are what needs to be worked on, and thats teally his only weakness (and that may be too strong a word).

Well it was a shorthanded goal so the matchups don't really apply. Kelowna was the home team tonight, it's a tournament so it's not based on location. Even if it was Rimouski's home game the coach wasn't matching Gauthier's line against Drai's for some reason.

Edit: I didn't read your last sentence correctly, I basically said the same thing you said.

There is really no comparison between these 2 prospects(not even close)
so it doesn't really matter

Like how Tampa selected Drouin while leaving Jones just dangling there?

Let me know when someone passes up Eichel or Mc David so Arizona is stuck with a choice they never thought they would get. In this case -unlike Jones- they will leave Hanifin 'dangling' for Eichel.

They aint choosing Marner to do so. Dont get your hopes up.

:shakehead

What a dumb thing to say. I'm just commenting on the game, not comparing prospects. If Gauthier was draftedmby another team i'd be saying the same thing.

I thought his point was quite valid. Unless you're trying to suggest that Barkov was Florida going off the board and Drouin is the "Eichel" in this scenario, in which case :help:

The choice at 3 is Marner/Hanifin/Strome. If the Yotes choose Marner over Hanifin it would be eerily similar to your team choosing Drouin over Jones. The point being, you take the guy you want instead of messing around with a trade back. Toronto isn't moving anything to jump to 3. The Canes I could definitely see parting with something to move up for Hanifin, but the Yotes run the risk of missing out on Marner (if that's their guy). Thus, you take your guy at 3. Why risk losing out just to gain a 2nd Rd pick?

Where are all the LD haters? I really miss reading their posts... His second goal tonight was absolutely dirty. It's too bad we didn't see anything like that from Strome these playoffs...
