"BPA" is subjective especially when you get out of the top 3.

If Mitch Marner was an inch or two taller but played the exact same game otherwise, he'd probably be the consensus lock at no.3.

I know what he meant...It was just my opinion that Hanifin will not be there at 4, as I think AZ takes him at 3, IMO he is too good a talent to pass on.

Anyway, this is Draisaitl thread, and I apologize for derailing...

Last night was a good showing for him as I thought he was Kelowna's best player, and one of the best players in the game along with Duclair and Fucale.
As an Oilers fan, extremely excited to see him in the future.:handclap:

If Mitch Marner is picked by Arizona, I would rather the Leafs draft Mathew Barzal than trade for Leon Draisaitl. Nothing against Draisaitl but IMO there are better players available at #4 than him.

If this was Leon Draisaitl's draft year, would he be considered for top 5 or top 10? Where would he be ranked for the 2015 draft?

A couple of scouts said they would take him over Strome so take that for what its worth, but like all things teams will like different players.

I think draisaitl is a great prospect but if you're arguing that its "maybe" McDavid and that Eichel isn't in the conversation (which he should be as he is as good or better than draisaitl when looking at size, vision, stick handling, not to mention how far ahead eichel is in skating, along with being younger) then I can't take you seriously. Not to mention you disregarding Matthews as well.

I've always believed draisaitls skating issues were a bit overblown and he has tremendous vision, however, he is not comparable to mcdavid or eichel at all, not to mention guys like kovalchuk who simply choose not to play in the nhl

? I'm not sure what the confusion is. The poster said Draisaitl was the best player not in the NHL. I listed a bunch of players who aren't in the NHL who I think are better than him. You think Draisaitl is better than Eichel and Kovalchuck right now? Draisaitl is better than Radulov?

Draisaitl > Strome, Marner and Barzal. I'm as big of a Marner/Barzal fan as there is too.
