His debut I thought there were two forwards better than him. Today I thought he was Anaheim's most consistently effective forward. The future is so bright for him.Was one of the best ducks that game.
The cahones on that kid to do a Chiclets interview was great to see. He may be quiet, but he is not shy. I was thoroughly impressed with his intangibles after that interview.Never knew he had a stutter. I hope he can succeed as a player for Anaheim. Special talent with that goal.
Surprising for me. I wasn't convinced about him...but mind you, I didn't see a lot of him. Watched some of todays game, and I may have been premature in my initial assessment. Definitely can see the smarts and he can handle the puck, that's for sure. Less of a perimeter player than I thought he was.
Was a disappointing game because felt that line could have had multiple points. He's amazing ducks fans are lucky
The points will come, they look really good together. Was a disappointing game because felt that line could have had multiple points.
You know when a rookie pitcher comes up and he only pitched 40 innings in the minors and we the fans want him to pitch the full 82 innings but the advanced stats say that you shouldnt double the innings for a pitcher but instead it should be around 1.5x the innings of the previous year maximum for best growth. It's kinda like that.I'm not sure I understand this "load management" approach. Is he injured still?
Never seen it with a hockey player, we'll see if it's a new trend. Tell me how this apply to hockey? Every players have heavy workload. He is still only 18. He is guaranteed to still grow at least one inch, bringing him to 6"4' but he cannot achieve this if he gets stunted or hit really hard by Brayden McNabb or Jamie Oleksiak or if Evander Kane cross-checks him in his back spine.
Besides, he needs to less time playing games and more time growing, going to Disneyland nearby and IKEA in Irvine and getting Swedish meatballs and adapting to the American lifestyle. Mmmm Swedish meatballs.
Where are you getting this height growth thing from? ~90% of players are done growing in height before they're 18. Unless there is something peculiar to Carlsson?
I agree that less game time is better for his strength and energy as he fills out.
Same thing happened to me lol, reached 6'0 in 8th grade and that was it. I never got carded for cigarettes.I was 6’0 in 8th grade and I am 6’0 today. People grow way different.
I was towering over kids that blew past me sophomore year.Same thing happened to me lol, reached 6'0 in 8th grade and that was it. I never got carded for cigarettes.
