Bruh give it up, no one is taking Carlsson over Bedard he played one game
I am honestly, legitimately baffled

One game buddy.I am Shellshocked, after what you've seen, you're not convinced about Carlsson?
You're anti-Bedard shtick in every thread is really quite lameI am honestly, legitimately baffled
even if you genuinely believed Carlsson was better or will be better, Bedard is just a much more valuable asset right now so of course everyone would take BedardI am Shellshocked, after what you've seen, you're not convinced about Carlsson?
You should stop bringing up Bedard in every other thread. It's unhealthy. You're Chicago, do you change your pick, today.
You're Anaheim, do you do Carlsson 1vs1 for Bedard?

It's some to keep an eye on as time goes on.It was an honest question, i had Carlsson and Benson ahead of Bedard pre-draft with receipts in this Board. So i do have a intelectual continuation with this matter.
There's nothing unhealthy, i have watched Bedard's games and the other 2 prospects im just asking to know, im not subjugating people to my ideas.
Just conversing, but thanks for the reminder, i should tone it down since people are getting emotional about it
Lol relax. They take Bedard. You're Chicago, do you change your pick, today.

Great clip package from his first game. A good handful of positive impact plays against a very good opponent.
Carlsson has already locked down the 1C in Annaheim. On a line with Zegras and Terry he is going to rack up points. Top 5 for Calder for sure
He’s gotta be trolling…Lol relax. They take Bedard.
I am a newer hockey fan from Australia, been following the NHL and prospects to some extent for a couple of years. Big fan of Leo and might become a Ducks fan, haven't really planted my flag anywhere, but I like the young group Anaheim has.Need to fix the PP for that trio to really rack in the points.
You sure sound like a Ducks fan (i had the same thought about Leo's placement on the PP as well, not a fan of him being the net front on the PP)I am a newer hockey fan from Australia, been following the NHL and prospects to some extent for a couple of years. Anyways putting my inexperienced opinion to the test, it seemed like having Carlsson posted in front of the net on PP1 is the opposite of what you want to do with someone with his skillset. I think it was the second PP the Ducks had where their formation got shuffled due to the entry and Leo was above Zegras on the right side. The puck cycled around a bit and arrived at Leo where he slightly moved towards the middle and kept his eyes cross ice to draw the defender(s) in before shifting the puck quickly down to Zegras in space where he nearly lifted it past Oettinger's shoulder at a tight angle. Just seems like those sorts of plays are what you would want in a PP situation and Leo obviously can't do that plonked in front of the net. I get that he is big and you want him to assert his presence, but he is 18 and still needing to gain strength in certain parts of his body. Even when he is fully developed it strikes me as a waste of talent. Not sure if I am correct since I have not been watching hockey long

Ah okay, I just remember him sitting net front on the first PP with not much going on and then the second PP, that I mentioned where he was in a different spot. I think the third PP he was on the ice for was killed by their own goalie, Gibson, playing the puck to Dallas players twice from behind the net. I'll keep an eye out for rotations in the future, and players shifting off of the net mouth to present options!Their powerplay last night had guys cycling around from the front of the net to the bumper and halfwall. The net mouth is a space to make plays, not just screens.
Now with Leo able to control the ice I wouldn’t even hate Zegras in front. With the skill that will be on that PP he doesn’t need everything running through him. Zegras may not be big in front but he will definitely have the best hands in tight of the net of anyone. Maybe I should just put down the joint though.
Feel bad for McTavish because he’s looked so good but he has to try and run the 2nd PP with the leftovers.
Probably exactly what’s happened everywhere else. He got a chance from lack of depth and is running with that chance. So much talent.Give Mctavish Mintyukov!!!
How the heck did Mintyukov get on the first PP as a rookie anyways? He must've really impressed during camp eh?
Minty is the best defender on the ice as a 3 game player. He is the complete package even has the physicality. He should be running PP1 from now on.Give Mctavish Mintyukov!!!

Though It is traditionally not a place you’d put a skilled playmaker like Leo. It probably isn’t the absolute best place for him to be.Their powerplay last night had guys cycling around from the front of the net to the bumper and halfwall. The net mouth is a space to make plays, not just screens.

Silfverberg on the second unit can not happen lol.
Oh I was surprised when I saw Minty out there on PP1 instead of Fowler. New coaching staff could have something to do with it too.
And I don't know if it interests you but Ducks legend Henry Thrun has been getting some run on the Sharks PP1 too. However, our coaching staff is absolutely idiotic and healthy scratching Thrun every third game apparently since Grier signed too many d-men in the offseason lol
