______________________________________________________________

This is not an attack towards Jack, nor is it anything negative, nor any other thread lock worthy ****, its my 100% honest opinion/prediction of Jack Hughes, so there's no reason for jumping on/off the walls, either you agree or disagree, simple as that, no reason for hate or **** like that. - i'm happy to be wrong and if i'am, then that day
i'll admit i was wrong, and remember, lets keep it clean so this thread stays alive -

______________________________________________________________

1. His style of play (his game) will not translate to the NHL
2. He is too soft to be successful in the NHL (nothing to do with his size)
3. His shot will be an issue at pro level
4. His hockey IQ/sense is not as great as people claim
5. His personality will be an issue at pro level
I hope this post was meant as sarcasm, if not it's laughable.

Btw, you might want to: 1. Not misquote me 2. Understand what I'm talking about before commenting on it. Would be greatly appreciated.
You might want to slow down on downplaying Finnish players' rivals for silly reasons if you don't want it to come back and bite you.

It's not a silly reason and that's not the motivation, either.

The fact that you think I was saying "his skating sucks" tells all you need to know. In case you still don't understand, it was about the way he plays the game, always in motion, not start&stop - and that that traditionally isn't how you play in NHL. You cannot respond to a turnover as a C by circling around the net before starting the back check. And heck, that even was pointed out as a conditional. It wasn't even an actual assessment.

If you STILL don't understand what I was saying after me spelling it out for you, please don't comment on it. I say enough things so we can discuss those things without you having to make stuff up.

I thought similarly for Mittelstadt - Now, he's not nearly the same calibre of prospect, but he did struggle with that in NHL. It's indeed a conditional. If Hughes doesn't have problems adjusting to that? Then it's not an issue. Then I just was wrong - with the conditional.

Nevertheless, this does NOT equate to:
ijuka come talk about how Hughes skating sucks
Which is what my issue was. That's an ABSURD way to read what I said. It wasn't even about skating.

Unless you wanted to talk about something I said about his actual skating(The wide turn comment made me think you were talking about what I mentioned above, though)? That wasn't me ever saying that his skating sucked either, though. I think I said that his absolute agility is overrated. That does NOT equate to me saying his skating sucks. Which you full well do know, I'm sure.

I found these within 5 minutes from your GDT thread. It seems I wasn't just being homer Kakko fanboy when I implied he really wasn't amazing throughout the game and only showed his true capabilities after his first goal.

I get that it's annoying when guys like ijuka come talk about how Hughes skating sucks for the sake of it but not everyone are like him.

To be fair, in the same thread I also said of Jack:

"Good Lord what a pass"

And of Jack with Goose 3 v 3:

"Lulz, look out league"

I cant wait for the season to start so Hughes can excel or flop and everyone will be happy.

This kid really might be something special... if he plays like this in the regular season watch out

The kid is just unreal. The vision, the precision is just absolutely insane for an in 18-year-old. And he's got a bit more power behind his shot than I expected.

The Rangers are icing a terrible lineup but you can’t watch this game and not see that he will be an elite player.

Maybe he will, but the preseason always has shining stars that flop when things get serious. Last year Ty Rattie was 7+4=11 in his four preseason games and is now playing in Russia.
