Maybe he will, but the preseason always has shining stars that flop when things get serious. Last year Ty Rattie was 7+4=11 in his four preseason games and is now playing in Russia.

Are you seriously comparing a first overall pick to Ty f***ing Rattie?

I mean really, trolling or not it's just intellectually dishonest.

Kakko must still prove himself just the same. Any rookie does, even Gusev to an extent.
Oh. I thought we were just saying random things.

I mean, why else would you bring up a 25-year-old second-rounder as a serious data point for why the things we're seeing Jack Hughes do are pedestrian?

And the blind pass to Hall on his goal? And the countless other beautiful passes he made throughout the night?
I don't think there is a single person who follows prospects with doubts that Jack Hughes can throw beautiful passes. That's nothing new

There Reunanen and Geertsen were playing like traffic cones, performing like that they'll never see a single game in the NHL. Playing against Skjei and Trouba there will be fewer opportunities with less time and less space, if they can find the chemistry to break that too with blind passes then they have surely passed the test. Today was at most a decent practice session for it.

Always an excuse from you...can't wait to see what you come up with in the regular season!

Reunanen plays for Lukko in Finland, Geertsen is a 24-year-old free agent from the AHL, wearing a Rangers uniform for the preseason doesn't make them comparable to regular NHL defensemen. Never mind top pairing ones.
