Came away impressed every time I saw him play. Has the talent and the energy level to make him dangerous every shift.

I think he is one of the few players in which Red Berenson can't fault the kid for turning pro early. He's ready.
 
I don't think he's any better than the established guys (Kesler, Backes, Pavelski, Stepan). Guys like Eichel and Watson are likely to be a tier above, at least from an offensive standpoint.
Austin Watson a tier over Bjugstad? What? Bjugstad will in the mix to replace those first three guys that are getting old.
 
It's the definition of a prospect in hockey and all other sports that have drafts. Being drafted is a requirement to be considered a prospect by almost all if not all credible scouting services. The broader definition of "prospect" outside of sports is irrelevant.

Being drafted is a prerequisite of being a prospect of an NHL team. If you are a draft prospect, you are, by definition, undrafted.
