Haven't seen every game but the ones I have seen Larkin was creating some real good scoring chances. He and his linemates just haven't been able to finish em off.

That's why I wrote earlier that I think he has had some chances that should've been buried more. But that's very true, with a shutdown role it is much harder to produce.

I watched the opening game of WC live in Czech (Usa vs Finland), and in my opinion, Larkin was one of the best in that game. Or at least he constantly did things on the ice that really caught my attention.

AA-Larkin-Mantha would be a great line. Mantha is still a little banged up/slow, but AA and Larkin will be all over the ice. They can do all the work, and then Mantha can come in as the late man and let that big shot go.

Which would perfect for Mantha, all eyes would be on those two and their speed. Yes please.

Utica must not be that happy with this decision but excited to see him go pro. I expect him to be in the Griffs lineup right away

I'd be stunned if he isn't dressed for Game 1. Very excited to see him play on Sunday. Interested to see where Blashill puts him in the lineup.

Best decision for Dylan. He had a phenomenal freshman year and a strong World Championships. He was ready for the next level. The biggest hurdle I imagine was being comfortable with leaving Michigan for possibly only the AHL next year.

He'll be fast tracked to the NHL IMO. He already plays the Red Wings style of game and isn't small/weak like Tatar/Nyquist were......less of a learning curve.
