Jeez, I know team Canada likes him but I wasn't expecting him to actually make the team.
What's his long term NHL upside?

He reminds me of Konecny, Gallagher, Marchand. Short but very gritty with some offensive upside. Best skill is his speed and compete IMO.
He's gonna be Canada's Justin Abdelkader.
He's been unbelievable lately. Not only is he fantastic defensively, his offensive production has skyrocketed.
11 goals, 13 assists, 24 points in his last 11 games.
Currently ranks 9th in the WHL for points per game at 1.43.
Of the 8 players ahead of him, only 3 players (Steel, Patrick, Yamamoto) are of his age group or younger.
I think he might have more offensive skill then anyone originally thought, including me. Still don't see him as a future top 6 player but I think he could be an excellent third liner who has no problem jumping into the top 6 if needed.
But like all prospects, there's a good chance he doesn't work out. But he's looking very, very, very good.
Having an excellent preseason. Made a beautiful play Monday night setting up Jankowski for a shorthanded goal and already has 2 assists in the first 5 minutes of tonight's game despite playing on the 4th line with Lomberg and Glass.
I get more and more excited about him every day. Amazing forechecker and possession player.
Oh you forgot to say how he embarrased two NHL defensemen doing it
