He's obviously too much of a hot head to take a chance on in the draft. Sure he's impressed so far...but if he's just going to drop the gloves every time someone gives him a howdy do, well I certainly wouldn't draft him to my franchise.
 
I would guess he sprained his wrist at the very least and looks like he forgot to put on the foil :sarcasm:

Also from what I saw at the game I'm pretty sure he hit his hand off the glass.

Does "injury" equate to fracture? Most will assume yes, but prognosis on a "fracture" can be anything from a week to a couple of months.

So whatever the exact nature of the injury is, it sounds like the prognosis won't be fully known until after McDavid sees a specialist Wed.
 
What the hell is up with this good old Ontario Canadian boy getting his hand hurt in a fight and not shaking it off?
 
When you break your hand, you don't suddenly lose your talent. He will recover.
 
Hopefully it isn't a serious fracture, and if it is, well, take your time to heal Connor.
Was expecting him in the Subway Series so much.
 
Gonna suck hard if he misses the WJC.

I don't have faith in Reinhart as a #1 center on a gold medal team.

Should be fine unless it is something really serious, probably looking at 6-8 weeks for a broken wrist or hand, whatever he has. A young top notch athlete like mcdavid should have no problem healing quickly in 5-6 weeks
 
Don't worry. Even Adam Banks had a hand injury and he was able to go for the big game, he was big for the ducks that day.
 
Based on what I have seen, I am sure he will be fine. I was in enough fights when I was young to know that after the toughest fight, it is your hands that hurts the most.

Having said that, getting into a fight was stupid, stupid, stupid.
 
I missed a chance to get tickets for the Niagara Ice Dogs game on Friday - last time I looked, there were 19 seats left and they were all singles. Looks like he won't be playing anyway. :(

Lol, why? Because Canada's golden boy got in a little scrap and hurt his hand? He'll recover. Deal with it. This is hockey after all.
