As far as I know, McDavid isn't 17. I'm just pointing specificity of junior hockey where generational talent is tracking records of nonames. Era adjusted his results are slightly worse than Crosby's in regular season and slightly better in playoffs, right?

Yes, he's ought to because he's right. Best defense in OHL is based on shutting down McDavid, who is playing with some quite average mates in this playoffs, and after doing it nicely in 3 of 4 matches, he may still record 2ppg during finals. He's that good.
