Has only been held off the scoresheet once in the past 15 games, on a pretty weak team too. 18 goals, 19 assists in those 15 games. As good as he was last year, he’s much better this year, just creating dangerous offence so, SO consistently.

Yeah, all 3 goals were snipes, and he was generating great chances basically every time he stepped on the ice. Dominant performance.
His scoring ability will always be his calling card with that downright ridiculous shot of his, but Bedard has incredible playmaking ability as well, down to the minutiae that the league’s best producers possess - now that his linemates are converting, I expect this side of his game to start getting more attention. All signs at this point suggest an Art Ross contender.

I would love to hear from the stat watchers who were worried about earlier in the year. Pretty quiet now that he is out of his funk. I'm pretty sure Pavel Buchnevic deleted his account over his bad takes on Bedard, @GeorgeLeafer12 is pretty quiet on the Bedard nightly stat recaps and doesn't have much shooting advice anymore, and I'm pretty sure the Russian's haven't gotten out of bed since Michkov slowed WAY down and Bedard heated up. Love to see some accountability.

My favourite of all is 3 weeks ago @McFlash97 saying there is no chance Bedard will finish at 1.5 points per game.... getting pretty close with a lot of games let.

Worried? I don't think they were worried. All the users you just named have some kind of nationality/personality conflict with Bedard, and were more than eager to jump on any perceived weaknesses or scoreless games. Pretty easy to see from their posts that they only come in to criticize him but never praise him when he has an amazing game, like his 5PT one.

That's what the ignore button is for anyways.

Yeah I'm hoping that doesn't catch.

I haven't seen too many wrist shots that can beat a goalie from BEYOND the circles. He was halfway between the blue line and the circles when he ripped that laser.
And it was hard enough that it entered and exited the net before anyone noticed. Not sure I've seen a shot like that in a long time.

I honestly couldn't care where a prospect is from. Whether it's Latvia, Calgary or the GTA when it comes to prospects. But, nice projecting on to other people. If I was an OHL homer, wouldn't I be defending Wright?

Never mind the bad take directed at you, you are one of the few prominent posters that seems 100% honest around these parts.

First reaction was the Messier wrist shot on one leg off the wing.

The thing is that he really didn't do that much, it's the small shifts to create time and space and make defenders react that makes him so incredible.

#1 for 23 is his to lose basically at this point.

And while he isn't generational he is just a notch below that and could be included in a very generous grouping of "generational" which personally is a term I really don't like to use.

Put another way, if he keeps on track I think he will be better than both Taveres and Stamkos.
