He’s scoring at the highest ever rate for a 16-year old in the WHL by a huge margin, despite starting the year with only 10 points in his first 14 games.
I was more referring to his position in the scoring race to me he would have to be in the top ten point leaders despite his 6 games missed for me to personally call him a generational prospect even though I still see him near that

He is 12th in PPG, might not finish in the top 10 overall but top 15 is attainable.

I'm dying to see this kid play at a full World Juniors - even if it is in August.

Tavares 16 year old thru 35 games: 34g 31a 65p

Tavares is one of the greatest pre draft players ever.

If you axe the first 10 games of their seasons (Tavares 27 points) and Bedard (10 points), it’ll be interesting to see who finishes with the better clip. Bedard’s slow start makes closing the actual gap impossible.

Keep in mind the 10 month age gap in draft -1 seasons.
