Yeah you’re right he only led the league in 5v5 scoring chances, tied for the lead in all scoring chances after 4 games. You need a program to tell if he's playing or not in these first games.

Game 1 he was meh. 1 on 3s..are CHLish. Obviously he'll be awesome...but it's been a force after force....he'll get hs ice time and rack up points andshots etc, but the overall game is CHL.This was the only game he got shut down.
led the league in 5v5 chances....do people really buy that? I don't. He's going to be sick...but his game smells of a last plce team just letting 1 puck hog do whatever he wants.Yeah you’re right he only led the league in 5v5 scoring chances, tied for the lead in all scoring chances after 4 games.
Got ran off the tracks tonight. Happens.
That's not a new experience for Bedard, he was like that a lot in juniors when his team was outmatched/ down by a few. He seems to save his second gear for when it's needed most and when his team is rolling.Watched the entire game. Now this was his worst game of his young season.
Looked dead tired, had no legs. - the entire game
Made 2 good plays, other than that, many mistakes, got hit again too often.
- one double tally hit
That last shift of his, in the last minute of the game, holy hell it was bad,
like i said above, dead tired, he was barely moving at the end.

Ovechkin and Crosby got much less help in their rookie year and they were fine. Bedard is just simply not at that level.Bedard is fine, he has no help and Hall is not a top 6 player anymore.

There’s a thread on the mains asking if Jack Hughes will be second best in the league guys. A little patience here
Drawing conclusions this early on is so amateur
It's that bad. He has about the same help as Ovi and Sid did. Also the schedule makers are not being kind to the Hawks. They're facing playoff team after playoff team to start the season.Ovechkin and Crosby got much less help in their rookie year and they were fine. Bedard is just simply not at that level.
Crosby has Lemieux, Gonchar, Recchi, LeClair, Palffy, and a whole host of solid veterans on that team. He was well insulated even if they were past their primes.Ovechkin and Crosby got much less help in their rookie year and they were fine. Bedard is just simply not at that level.
