So he was changed from a potentially high end 3rd line with little probablity of making it, to a 3rd liner to a slightly higher probability to making it? Personally i think 7.0C is better than 7.5D.

Im pretty sure every team has their own writer do the ratings. It is possible that its a different person with a different opinion. Really that upset?

This is correct. Nashville guy thought he was 7.5D, Toronto guy think's he's 7.0C.

The end.

How did Lindberg's thread double or triple in # of posts when he was traded to Toronto but this thread didn't have any posts last year after he was traded here

He was pretty solid in the 1st period. Like what I'm seeing

One of my favorite prospects. He is underrated but he is a solid player. Watching him with the Marlies and he has always impressed me.

Great 1st game with a goal!

With the hype around other Leafs prospects like William Nylander, I wonder if he sometimes gets forgotten? A lot of talk around Leafs fans is when will they bring up Nylander and Leipsic's name never got mentioned.

he was one of the most effective junior players when he played in Portland. Scored a ton of points and had opponents and opposing fans wanting to kill him on a nightly basis.

Im happy he has been playing well in the pro's

He's more of a Marchand comparable than Gallagher, in my eyes.

Non-stop motor with a cheeky, agitating side to his game. Very skilled and shifty. His hands are pretty incredible which makes him really hard to get a hold of in the offensive zone and he's a stocky little guy with a low centre of gravity.

A former WHL scoring leader who also has .73 PPG in 121 AHL games played. Pretty impressive numbers.

Trajectory has some similarities too

Both were star junior players, they peaked offensively in their third years, and endured somewhat harsher final years. Leipsic was more prolific in junior, but he had a more offensive team, and Marchand also won two World Junior Gold medals. I do think Leipsic was on the radar for the World Junior team, but his poor performance in the 4 game Super Series I think drove Hockey Canada away from him

Similar AHL stats as 20 year olds, both made their NHL debuts at age 21. Funny enough though, Marchand had only 1 assist in 20 games in that season. Leipsic has already matched the point output lol.

off course Marchand went off the following year
