Here's a rush by Lambert vs Switzerland that doesn't end with a goal but shows some skating.

Was something I said wrong or could you please stop making it personal? I know the kind of comments you've routinely made so I'd rather not have a conversation on this with you - you're one to talk in this regard. You call it bias, but I see Savoie #1 on every list even though his accomplishments or skillset still aren't at Lambert's level. Me recognizing this isn't bias. But it's likely saving me some headache if you do add me to a blocked list - I personally would never block anyone, though. It's a loser move. I'm open to discussing their merits, skillsets and size, though.

These threads also are for comparing prospects to their peers.

I have Savoie and Wright both ahead of Lambert. Both their skill sets are better than Lambert's

Yeah, pretty much everyone would. I guess it depends on how you view the skill sets. I have Lambert's hands, skating and shot the best of the bunch., and both skating and hands are at the absolute top of the elite category. With hands being the best attribute, likely the best hands since McDavid.

The main issue is, I think that they should have to prove they're ahead of Lambert, not the other way around. After all, Lambert's already performed fantastically at u-17s while the other two have yet to debut, with essentially no age difference. Lambert's also performed at a much more storied league for his club team. At this point in time, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me to have Lambert behind. Well, this is something I've been saying for quite a while already. Need to be quite confident in one's playmaking / overall game / hockey IQ read to draw such conclusions at this point in time.

Hopefully he becomes the best Finnish player ever. Then we can sleep soundly knowing that the best Finn is still half Canadian.

What are the odds he develops beyong Barkov, beating Barkovs skill level? Preeeetty small for his favor because Barkov is a top 3 Centre in the NHL (don't @ me ) and Lambert's case is just unknown when talking about him possibly being the best finn ever. When the "possibility" is so prematurely thrown out there. I mean you never know he could be. I just think the odds say he won't more likely. That's all.

"So little footage"? There's plenty of footage. I've not only watched him internationally, you know. And "since McDavid" doesn't mean he's better than McDavid in terms of hands. Do people have issues with the term or something? I've encountered the same remark several times in the past. Kakko certainly might have better hands, though Lambert's are superior for his age - It's impossible to know how good Lambert's will be at 17 or 18 years of age.

Well, it'd be possible. Although, even if Lambert outperforms every Finn thus far, I think Kiviharju's too close in age for Lambert to actually ever be considered the best Finnish player ever.

You have made it more than clear that you're not here to discuss anything aside from why finnish guys need to go 1OA and everyone else sucks... like its painfully obvious. I don't have anything else to say to you.

Don't generalise all finns because of this though. Maybe guys like this dude will finally stop being so biased once we finally get that 1st OA. Aatu Raty is our best shot. Lambert not so much.

Not allowed to discuss top prospects? I enjoy watching clips and stuff but when it gets infested with ijuka and Finnish fanboys blaming everything on North American bias and that he is the greatest player to ever touch the ice, it gets pretty ridiculous and annoying. Could be a good thread, but I can already tell its gonna get ruined eventually. And im not lumping all Fins into this category, some are awesome posters and I enjoy reading their stuff, but some are just clowns, and everyone knows which ones those are

Certainly, I think Kakko should have gone first and think that Lambert should be #1 at this point in time. I'm not denying that. However, I'm kind of curious about what's your MO. You've still not said your opinion or anything on Lambert, simply badmouthed me. In my opinion, being player-focused is quite a bit better than being poster-focused. You don't see me going to every Devils prospect thread calling you a homer when you call them good, do you? Traditionally, a prospect's own thread is one where you're expected to talk positively about them, is it not?

So did you actually have anything to counter anything I said, any opinions of your own to contribute to the conversation? Or did you just come here to drive-by flame me?

Canada doesn't take kids who haven't played major junior to these events. Can't really knock Savoie for that. Tavares, Ekblad, and McDavid didn't go before they played a single CHL game, so I don't know why you would expect Savoie too. Plus, Canada is stacked this year with the 2002's being the best class of Canadians since 1997's. A bit of a ridiculous take.

You are seriously saying every finn that is top 3 should be 1 yet you have no knowledge of those who rank higher currently that arent finnish. You act like you know every prospect and you claim your not biased. Smh.. And you come off as biased as it gets. It's ridicilous.
