Doesn't mean he's going to be Toews... Monahan said he's between Eric and Jordan Staal. None of us is expecting a 6'4 100 point selke center...

Can you imagine what this kid is going to be like when he's 22 or 23?...built like a tank....wins faceoffs based on his leverage...already plays a heavy game...think Bryan Trottier but probably a better skater....not many teenagers can play the same 200-foot game.

Kid looks like a vet, and he's just 19. Dominant on faceoffs so far, very good defensively, good on the PK, and chipping in solid offence. They should keep him up, he could easily establish himself as the Nucks' 3C this years.

Yes, a better skating Bryan Trotter. Absolutely. The Canucks have themselves an absolute gem. Generational. Stanley. Cup.

His two way game at 19 years old is even impressing me who has been hard on this guy.

He can downright play in the NHL right now, which is crazy.

Good enough replacement for Ryan Kesler.

Oh, just you wait...we've got another.

I wonder whether moving Richardson is worth it. Richie has been playing excellently, but if we could get a decent return for him...

Brian is a HOF'er; one of the truly elite players of his era, who could contend for scoring championships and won 4 Cups.

1 week ago ago, the overwhelming majority of Canuck observers felt like Bo needed to go back to junior. Now, he's somehow as good as Brian Trottier, but with better wheels???

Bo is one 5/13 in the face off dot game away from people in Vancouver screaming "I knew he should have been sent back to junior; Benning is an idiot..."

Was obvious sarcasm by the poster. Again your also paraphrasing somewhat innacurrately what canucks fans said one week to the other, most canucks fans as far as i know from our board wanted him to stay, but the concern was would willie trust him enough to give him proper ice time, if not he should go back down. Willie even said as much himself post game.

Not many had performance complaints regarding him.

Bro. Can't we just be stoked on having a good prospect? Or did you have to come in this thread to make sure expectations were adequately tempered.

We know he's not Brian Trottier.

Reality check: Hansen and Dorsett, along with a Hawks team disinterested in playing defense, were all more responsible for Bo's 3-assist night than he was.

But his overall play has been solid for a 19yr old.

The first goal was all Horvat winning the draw, getting the puck, skating the puck out, passing the puck to Dorsett on the wing and tip passing it to Hansen for the goal.
