I hope he pans out. More talent is better for the game we all love. But at some point he needs to justify it.

It's hard to justify it without getting a proper chance. Hopefully he lands with the right team. He might need to try a new liiga team, even if the coaching change is welcome.

For those that have seen him, is the skill and potential there and has he just buckled under pressure to be no. 1? It’s not often you see a guy go from almost consensus 1st overall a couple years ago to out of the first round altogether.

He has been shafted by a coach who gets wet dreams when he sees a veteran player regardless of skill level. He has gotten less and less opportunity and should be a good liiga player now. Next season will be different. Either with the new coach or a new team altogether.

Kylington was supposed to be a top 5-10 pick in his draft, Flames got him at 60 and he was pressbox for most of all season (which was bullshit, he should have started but still).

I bet he gets drafted early tomorrow.

Lambert oozes skill but physically he's still super raw and he seems a bit arrogant, which he can grow out of, but it's not a great quality imo. A bit of a disappointing D -1 year.
