come on man, look at him go, he lost an edge. He looks gased all the time, overthinks every damn situation, lob passes and lazy plays in the corners.

I love Subban, He's my guy, but come on, as a defenceman all my life, it's pathetic to see him go

 Please stop, just stop.

Denis is right for once..first goal Forwards not communicating changed the tone. Subban does that board play every single game. Never has been an issue

Corsi is the most overrated stat in the history of sport.

Corsi offers a very simple projection over what team is dominating play.

If you evaluated every individual period based entirely on corsi, than yeah, you are overrating it. Good thing nobody actually does that.

What corsi tells us about the Habs this season is that they are not as good as their record suggests, and are being held up by ridiculously good goalie stats.

Sounds pretty accurate, no? One game where Price is off and Therrien is outwitted as usual doesn't change the fact that the Habs are a below average corsi team.

We always have problems with Buff. Ruff use to give me fits playing the trap in 2-1 game with 10 minutes left in the third.

There's so much wrong.

Way too soft in the defensive zone and poor coverage. Dale Weise on the 1st ****ing line. The team constantly not being prepared.

[Insert the obligatory you're only here when they're losing. Why don't you go cheer for the Bruins/Leafs, this team is awesome]

As much as everyone may hate Dale ****ing Weise on the first line, the sad reality is, that isn't even the biggest, or even close to the main concern...

EDIT: Well, it's close.

Spoken like a true Leafs fans.

Possession stats should be observed as tendencies, not as stand-alone events.

Just like how day-to-day whether doesn't prove nor disprove anything regarding climate change.

I did not say corsi was a bad stat or that tonight game was a proof of anything. I said the stat is overrated and it is.

CORSI is the only thing we hear about these days. We have come to a point where people don't care about the score anymore but just the corsi numbers.

CORSI is like the +/-. It serves a purpose but some people are reading way too much out of the stat.

Not excusing our play 'cause it hasn't been great... but this might be the first game I can think of in a long time where you could actually put the blame on Price for a loss.

They weren't bad goals but he usually stops those.

And it shows the awesomeness of Corsi.

Beating the Sabres. Outstanding........until you look up at the scoreboard.

Indeed, we get destroyed in CF Close, then struggle to drive the play against the SABRES sitting on a 2 goals lead. Just as planned.
