...maybe we can smuggle Stafford out when we leave... :dunno:

...nah, Therrien would still play Weise over him in the Top 6...

You are probably right. I think Therien felt in love with Wiese like he did with DD. We are stuck with him on the top 6 until we can replace him with Kane.

Shooting from the point ?

Does it get through? Yes/No

No - You're a habs dman, you're expecting to get a shot through ?LOL

Yes - Was there a screen ? Yes/No

No - You're a dman for the habs and you're expecting a screen ? LOL

Yes - Was he taller than 5'8? Yes/No

No - So, if the goalie can still see that's not really a screen, is it ?

Yes - Don't kid yourself, those guys stand to the side and try to tip the shot.

No one cares
Tonight magnifies the problems we face and that need to be fixed.

We need someone not named Price or Pacioretty to step up for us.

We need some consistent scoring

Maybe we call up Hudon to see if he can score some goals

We deserved the cup much more in 88-89 than 93, yet, Flames was just great too that year and 1 team had to lose. 93 was about incredible goaltending, being opportunistic (wins in OT) and easy matchups. Way more than dominance. Especially when you compare it to 88-89.
The '89 team was awesome. As usual though we were missing that offensive superstar to put us over the top. Richer would've been that guy but he had depression and unfortunately '89 was an off year for him. What a shame because that guy had it all and to this day one of the best slapshots I've ever seen.

Even if he was on though, Calgary was destined to win that year. Just so much talent. An absolute powerhouse of a team that year.

Bet you werent saying that in the playoffs... He is playing much better than last year he is actually a plus player, and ok sure he made mistakes, but name me one athlete that never makes mistakes. He is only 25.

come on man, look at him go, he lost an edge. He looks gased all the time, overthinks every damn situation, lob passes and lazy plays in the corners.

I love Subban, He's my guy, but come on, as a defenceman all my life, it's pathetic to see him go

Gorges is probably sitting backstage and saying to whoever wants to listen to him that he's the difference between the Habs winning and losing.

I agree he is overthinking it but he is not the one to blame. Subban isn't even my favorite defenseman but why does everyone on here keep criticizing him i just don't get it. You guys are habs fans right?

Frustrating that the top two lines are clearly not clicking, yet it seems we are stuck with them

At least try something, show some damn imagination.

Vulgar display of no power....

Where is our offense? Even in our recent wins, we can't buy a goal.. Come on!!

This team will go nowhere in playoffs and relies way to much on Price.

Honestly... I just think it's one of those nights. Team came in overconfident and haven't played well. It happens.

Bad systems or not we should be able to outplay Buffalo. It's just a game where we thought we had an easy win and didn't prepare. Price isn't stopping what he normally does...

Still got the 3rd period and this is still a winnable game.

There's so much wrong.

Way too soft in the defensive zone and poor coverage. Dale Weise on the 1st ****ing line. The team constantly not being prepared.

Corsi is the most overrated stat in the history of sport.

Spoken like a true Leafs fans.

Possession stats should be observed as tendencies, not as stand-alone events.

Just like how day-to-day whether doesn't prove nor disprove anything regarding climate change.
