Thank f*** its finally over.

Pick just moves to 2023 if Vegas suddenly implodes or wins the lottery right? (I say this knowing they currently would have the 7th overall pick, but they won't be staying that low)

EDIT: Didn't see conditions posted when I was typing this.

no salary retention, no pick conditions tied to eichel games played. this despite being consistently reported from insiders. they really got worked on this one, and then andrew peters breaks the trade...

I think there's an argument to be made that the top-10 protect is indirectly tied to Eichel's games played and/or effectiveness. But it's an academic argument (which, yes, I know HF loves). And it is funny that Peters broke the trade.

Not a bad return. What's that set us up for next year? Something like:

Skinner - Mitts - Hino
Olofsson - Cozens - Asplund
Quinn - Krebs - Tuch
Bjork - Girgensons - Okposo

Samuelsson - Dahlin
Power - Jokiharju
Hagg - Pysyk

Not bad at all. A young group, but there's really a lot of talent there. That should be a fun team.
Where tage ? I think jj might be ready by next year too . Guess this assumes arttu isnt cutting it

The reason Jack Eichel is leaving is more so to do with the fact that our owners are meddling fools. I will still say to this day, Eichel should have been better insolated and if they had the right experienced hockey OPS in place long before, and didn't need to "be heard" on decisions when Pegula knows NOTHING about the game, we'd be in a better place. That being said, this needed to end.

Congrats guys. This is really gonna bolster your third line. Good for Kyvyn Adyms for holding the line until the right time (and nothing to do with the league wanting to move the CHI sex abuse scandal out of the headlines).

Glad Vegas is allowing him to go ahead with his amputation

Exactly, just let him have his god damn surgery. One way or another whether it was right or wrong. No team should stop a player or person from getting the health benefit that they need. That's the one thing that disgusted me throughout the entire thing. I understood both sides, but jesus. Let him get the surgery so we can get a trade done. Vegas is going to win this going away in spades. But, for this organization it had to be over.

Wow. Congrats boys. Happy for you this has finally happened and you can move on with some new players in the lineup.
Good luck, good trade.

What was the Vegas offer in the summer?

Elvenes
Tuch
and a 1st
??

They probably weren't even offering Tuch then.
