Good - it is OVER.

Bad - is is NOT over here, and will go another 13 or 14, at least. Yawners...

pick should not be top 10 protected. Krebbs reminds me of Ryan Nugent Hopkins out of Edmonton and I am not a fan of Tuch

I don't know. This seems pretty underwhelming considering what people were saying. But glad it's done and hope it works out for buffalo.
I agree...I think Vegas should have added at least another young player/prospect, and maybe even another draft pick, especially when there were rumors of other teams interested...Hard to believe GMKA couldn't get more than this return...If Eichel returns to form Buffalo got hosed....I'm not a gambling man but if I was I'd put money that Eichel does return to form.

I really wonder what Calgary offer was? Seems the NHL really pushed to get a star in Vegas.

How does Vegas even make this work Cap wise?????

For sure. Out of Mittelstadt, Cozens, Rosen, Peterka, Krebs, and Quinn, Thompson, Asplund, and Olofsson, it would be ideal if they get 1-2 first liners, 2-3 top 6 players, and 1-2 quality 3rd line players. Really hoping one of Krebs, Mittelstadt, or Cozens can elevate to 1C quality. Don’t want to relive the nightmares of players like Hodgson and Leinos ilk being top line centers.
that's a lot of hoping right there....if none of those aren't #1c (that's probably more the case) then what does Buffalo do ? They spent years trying to get legitimate #1 and #2 centermen only to end up with none now.

It's possible they are looking at this draft since it is deep in quality centers beyond just Wright at the very top.

Show progress then sign one with the billion dollars of cap space, or trade for one with their plethora of assets. Things can happen

To be honest, this is probably 1 piece short. I wonder what the return looks like:

A) If a deal is done this summer
B) If Buffalo were willing to retain 2M.

I hope Krebs gets some Rochester time with Quinn and Peterka. I also hope there's another trade coming for some immediate help for the roster. Now that the Eichel deal is done and we essentially got a RW on IR and we're edging the cap floor, let's go out and find some way to use all our cap space to improve the roster or at least gather additional assets.
Where are you going to find a #1 C?

It was pretty complicated as is with cap considerations. My guess is that Adams had to take slightly less because all of this appears to be guaranteed assets as opposed to conditional assets. That said, when you give up the best player, nothing will seem to be equal value. This seems pretty good to me from a value standpoint when you consider the injury and pending surgery.

I like the assets and I'm excited to watch Eichel in Vegas.

Tampa Bay Ltirning.
Seems that way to start , given Eichel medical issues any takers he is primed for getting health as playoffs start? Although eichel has been off for quite some time, and who knows what his health will look like after the procedure

Vegas better turn it up of they plan to even make the playoffs tho

Not a bad return. What's that set us up for next year? Something like:

Skinner - Mitts - Hino
Olofsson - Cozens - Asplund
Quinn - Krebs - Tuch
Bjork - Girgensons - Okposo

Samuelsson - Dahlin
Power - Jokiharju
Hagg - Pysyk

Not bad at all. A young group, but there's really a lot of talent there. That should be a fun team.
