He’s not as talented as Steel, but he’s a prick to play against. I figured he’d top out as a 3rd liner, but he looks like a 2nd liner now.

Mind you, we also don’t know the full Anaheim offer. All we know is Gibson was offered as a return.
Steel is 13th forward right now, and that's with some injuries even. Troy is absolutely on fire with 11G and 8A during a 13 game point streak. He's making $1.45 this year and next. McDavid like play for 12% of the money.

I wouldn't trust anything NHL Rumors Daily says unless it was first said by someone reputable. It is Eklund level. Just because its on a podcast doesn't give it more validity. I'm going to trust the people who were there or spoke to those who were there. Dea, Gionta, Peters, etc...

Steel and Terry is like Mitts and Cozens, regardless of their position on the team. Both are talented, but one is more talented than the other.

Here’s what the Rangers offered in an Eichel trade…

Eichel was at Extreme Ice in Charlotte this week. He was practicing with Adam Oates. Some pretty basic drills.

My daughter plays for the girls team there, and her friends got to meet him.
