One of our posters mentioned that he ran into a Sharks scout ( who's a Boston native and close friend of Vesey's ) over the weekend and that the Sharks will be sending Thornton/Wilson to Boston to make a pitch for Vesey's services on or post 8/15.

One of our best insiders and posters said that the Leafs are all but officially out of the running.

Searched it up

Nolan Vesey and was drafted by the Maple Leafs. Judging by his stats I highly doubt he will be signed so giving Nolan a contract to persuade Jimmy is a big advantage for the Leafs. If they try that that is.

Buffalo being the only team that can talk to him until the 15th means absolutely nothing when agents and team personnel can leak info to insiders.

Now, how correct the info is...that's up in the air.
