That's when his rights that the Sabres currently hold expire. Because CBA. I don't know how/why they came to that date. I'm sure there's a reason, but I haven't heard it yet.

I think if he wants to play, the Leafs will be his best shot at cracking a line up. He's borderline, probably better suited for the AHL.

So, as a Leafs fan, you don't care whether we get a player who would be our fourth best prospect?

You don't care if we improve upon the players we have?

Personally, I'd like our team, and it's future to improve by all means necessary, but I respect those whose opinion differs, even if they don't want our team to improve.

I agree about all the Twitter insiders, though. It's become too diluted with writers or fans who are vaguely connected with a team or player enough that they gain a following. I have several friends that take every rumor they see on Twitter as gospel, and I have to remind them how easy it is to change your profile picture and your handle to "NHLHockeyInsiderz247" without having any credible or worthwhile information.

They're fine to use as talking points for hypothetical trades or scenarios (much like this entire section of HF) but when every tweet is viewed as credible regardless of its validity then it becomes obnoxious.
