Kratzov made Buch expendable. I
Kreider made Buch expendable. This is a cap clearing move.

A 2nd round pick in 2022 is like a first round pick in this draft.
This draft is balls terrible.
The thing is that the way the team is constructed I never saw Buch as a top 6 player on this team.Unless we trade him and Chytil for Eichel. We may have just gutted an entire line out of our top 6.
People were expecting a return for a locked up commodity while we in fact were trading a player coming off a bridge deal. What is the difference between this trade and the Zucc or Hayes trade? A few months? Buch isn’t a center. Will probably take 6-7m to lock up long term. Any team that has the cap space long term can get a good player for free by signing a UFA.
To compare the 2 at any point of their respective careers is insane. I do think that Buch is an unfinished product. He isn't a castoff by any means, but he wasn't fetching tier 1 talent either on his own.The fact that those chiming in actually watch Buch on a daily basis and THINK he was able to haul Taylor Hall++ return.

Laf
Kakko
Kreider
Kratzov
That's your top 6 wingers.
Can some Saudi Billionaire please buy MSG so I don’t have to worry about Dolan interference ever again
I more interested in who this Kratzov guy is.You ever heard of Artemi Panarin?
We picked up a left winger....Laf is going to be moved to the middle and Goodrow will assist on the draws until Laf is a 50 % guy . Why else would we get a left winger ? Is Kreider going out next ? I thought Barron was a LW and possible C ? It's hard to figure it out and I tend to think now almost anything is possible when some have stated NOT POSSIBLE....maybe their thoughts have changed with the latest move . I wonder what Gallant's reaction was when he heard the deal announced ?
Hey... on the bright side, we didn't trade Boqvist, a 1st and other picks for Seth Jones and then give him 7x9.5M. Small wins.
