my question is are they really going w a RW of Kakko , Kravtsov, Blais , Gauthier ?
What about Chytil sliding over

that’s young . Still young but does Laf move over to RW. So many questions lol

I think there are some options there, with or without an Eichel trade.

Laf could slide to the right side, Kravtsov could slide down, Blais could switch wings. If he's not traded for Eichel, Chytil could slide to the wings as well. Goodrow could slide over to the wings as well.

So none of it is completely set in stone --- especially for the short term.

Im not sure they do either.

If Eichel comes in, I see Kravtsov being involved Along with Chytil and Nils and maybe Georgiev. Draft picks are kept out of it. Strome moved separately. Laf to the RW as you mentioned
yeah. With this lineup it seems unlikely Kreider is going to be the guy on the 3rd line. Move Goodrow to LW, find a 3C.

I have to just avoid this board, Twitter, etc. Some of these reactions are so f***ing over the top.

Especially knowing that a huge part of these reactions comes from people that really knows very very little about Sammy Blais. I don’t know anything about him either really. Could have called his team and that he was a winger, but that is about it. Let’s see what he is about.

I have a hard time seeing the Rangers giving up all three of Kravtsov, Chytil and Lundkvist. I think if they were willing to do that, the deal would've be done already and they probably wouldn't have moved Buch.

I don't mind it but it's starting a trend. We're overpaying for all needs... whether its cap space or in assets. At what point does it become an issue?

Or just put Panarin with his grinders. Make teams put their best dmen out against Blais and Goodrow
The only "Grinder" Panarin has played with is Fast. Putting him with those two wouldn't be the best idea. Maybe Blais if you have Panarin-Eichel. Goodrow shouldn't be anywhere near the 2nd line.

If you’re looking for an idea of how well this move is being received, Drury is currently the 6th most trending topic in the US on Twitter right now

I can’t get over how terrible this trade is. The more I think about it, the more I want to punch Drury in the face.

Blais is listed as a LW. Are we going to play him on the 4th line behind Panarin, Laf, and Kreider?

You trade a 1st Line RW for a 4th line LW and you can’t even get a top pick this year? You have to settle for a 2nd round pick in 22?

If picks are like the NFL. A 2nd round pick in 2022 is like a 3rd round pick in 2021.

HOW DO YOU TRADE BUCH FOR THIS GARBAGE!!!!

There's no 2 ways about it, that is an appalling return.

A 26 year old play driving 2-way winger who scored at a 70 point pace and all we get is a replacement-level bottom-sixer and a f***ing 2nd round pick.

Haha. Because we clearly are. The return makes no sense.

People were expecting a return for a locked up commodity while we in fact were trading a player coming off a bridge deal. What is the difference between this trade and the Zucc or Hayes trade? A few months? Buch isn’t a center. Will probably take 6-7m to lock up long term. Any team that has the cap space long term can get a good player for free by signing a UFA.

Man we’ve seen some bad days, and it seems like they’re back with a vengeance.

This draft is balls terrible.

I am far from sold on Drury and will have no problem calling him out if he starts making moves that I have an issue with.

But if you auction a player across the league, the return will be what any GM was willing to pay. It’s as binary as it gets. It’s not like any other GM could have sold off Buch for a much higher price. Keeping Buch was going to be really hard after we gave him the bridge deal. He will get paid market value. We need guys on cheap contracts.
