Buch was a good PKer but Goodrow is a better one so that's not an issue.
. Thank You. I admit I’m not a huge Buch fan but you certainly got a upgrade. Buch is frustrating but talented. Also he has become a very good penalty killerBlues fan coming in peace.
Just wanted make a comment about Blais and give a little scouting report. He may not be the return you guys wanted for Buch, but Blais is a solid middle 6 winger when healthy. Not the best skater, but adequate in that department. Will hit anything that moves on the forecheck. Occasionally has crossed the line with hits, but I think he has learned from past mistakes and is getting better at keeping the hits clean. Has surprisingly good hands around the net and a good shot that can beat goalies clean. He has looked good in limited showings in our top 6, particularly with ROR & Perron.
Off the ice, there's a lot to like about Blais. He worked his ass off from being a 6th round pick to making the NHL, gives 110% every shift and wears his heart on his sleeve. He is easy to root for and a great kid/locker room guy. Try not to hate him because he was in the return for Buch, Blais is a very likable guy in his own right!
Best of luck this year.

. This is probably going to be like the 2012-16 era where Rangers traded pretty much every first and second rounderWonder how long lived that 2022 2nd pick will be
.
Lol Buch wasn't slow, he was above average I'd say
Both goodrow and blais play pedal to the metal every shift. It’s important to have these type of guys in our line up and at practice. This is the main message under Drury and gallant and we have to start infecting the young talent with that kind of effortBuch was a good PKer but Goodrow is a better one so that's not an issue.
With the buyout of Tony D and this Buch trade. How much cap room do we have?

The question is whether Drury talks Buffalo down on the price for Eichel.
I don't see them moving a RW for Eichel after moving Buch.
At this point they'd be shooting for Lundkvist, Chytil, Jones/Robertson and a first.
Strome would be flipped for replenishing assets or a LD.
You'd end up with
Laf/Eichel/Kakko
Panarin/Mika/Kravtsov
Kreider/Goodrow/Blais
Barron/Rooney/Gauthier
Does getting Goodrow and a cheap player like Bilas etc help them keep that 1-2 punch long term tho?
lol whatBuch was a good PKer but Goodrow is a better one so that's not an issue.
Let ‘em have some fun, this is probably the high point of their season.Said no one ever. Run along now troll
