Didn't get to see the bucs game but sounded like baker and the d made plays when they needed to. First games can be messy. Glad they got a win on the road.

Another series win. Rozzie with the BIG dinger and Poche/Stevenson with the closeout. They're not perfect, but they are playing damn good BB right now.

Great start to this pivotal series! The Rays bullpen has done a complete 180 from earlier this year, and Fairbanks has been dominant as a closer lately. They still need to take at least 2 of the next 3, but this was a great start, especially against Bradish.

Eflin with a masterpiece tonight, and the Rays bats were mostly working well! 2 down, 2 to go as the Rays have caught the O's for 1st in the East atm.

Bullpen with more good work as well, now 46 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run.

Glasnow is straight garbage again and this game is about 95%+ over by the end of the 2nd. He has to be light years better than he has been if they are to count on him in the playoffs.

More shit managing from Cash, and now the Rays have prolly blown it. It's okay though, the difference in winning vs losing today is only around 55% to.win the division and home field vs 20%, no big deal. A loss today imo ends any real chance they have.

Another blown season, as the Rays choke away the division today. They won't catch them now, and they won't win from the WC round, so in effect, season done.

Giving up runs in the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th innings is pretty sweet. You could almost pull random fans out of the stands and ask them to pitch and have better results than that.

Praying your guy recovering from Tommy John surgery can anchor your bullpen is literally the most Rays thing ever. This team should've won 100 games by now easily but between Franco 86ing his career and being the cheapest possible f***ing franchise we can be in the midst of losing 3/5 of our starting rotation, the grand solution was this.

I swear to God if we ever had a top 10 payroll we'd have won the title like 4 times starting since 2008

20-25 in one run games is pathetic. The bullpen is still a joke. Fairbanks coming out for the 8th and then, for ghe 1stntime all year, let's bring him back out for the 9th, as what could possibly go wrong....Even then, Armstrong was ready after Fairbanks gave up the hit, get him in there for the last out rather than let an overworked Fairbanks have to face another guy. No small ball in the 11th when you have to hold serve there, or the home(ir at least a competently managed one, as the Rays have failed to do so at home numerous times), will just manufacture the winning run.
