Ah of course, thr Yankees get crushed by everyone and look like utter trash the last 2 weeks, so of course the Rays provide them with a lopsided win. The bullpen is an atrocity and will once again be the downfall for this team when it matters.

Kelley was hot garbage. Ruined a good outing by Eflin.

He is hot garbage. I'm pretty sure it's at least one guaranteed rum for the opponent when he comes in, and usually more.

Edit: I was thinking of Kevin Kelly I guess, although if tonight's performance by Trevor Kelley was any indication, he can go back to Durham asap.
 
Watching last night's extra inning game, If I were a betting man I'd have put decent money on the boys emerging with a W. It just seems as though the bats will eventually come alive, at some point, in almost any game. And of course, Arozzie is frequently right in the middle of it, both in the box and on the base paths. It was 7-18 in July and now its flipped, 17-8 in August. With the arms looking better in the last month, they are setting up for a good run. (oh, and Poche had 1 inning and 2 SO..lordy!)
 
I'm done hoping these guys are gonna be special. There's just been too many injuries. At this point it's best for me to just not be upset anymore regardless of what happens and just be happy when good things do happen. Losing 3/5 of your starting rotation, Franco killing his career and a streaky bullpen is too much for anyone to overcome.

Another joke of a performance today from the bullpen. I'm not sure where this Devenski loser came from, but that's now two blown games in large part because of him. More great managing from Cash as well, bringing him in there after his performance against Cleveland. It looks like the division is Baltimore's at this rate, and there's no chance the Rays are doing anything from a WC spot.

Another game well on the way to being blown thanks to a clown show bullpen and, tonight, dumpster fire fielding. Great start to September guys....
 
Well, Glasnow with another gem and Fairbanks throws pure 100 mph gas. Another series win, and rooting for Sox as they play the mucho Birds in the next 10 days.

Another game pissed away. The best Littell has pitched all year, and Seattle handed them the game early and they just flushed it down the gd toilet. The baserunning was also a joke. About done with this team.
 
Fairbanks wipes out the side in the 9th and Rays bats sink the Mariners. Better late than never. Crowd was into it! Good times at Ferg's eh? Miss it.
 
Fairbanks strikes out the side in the 9th and makes Rodriguez look silly, whiffing at 101. He's gotta be top 5 closers in the game right now. Rays take another series, and the roadtrip coming up is no joke.
