Whenever OSU starts to get any momentum there goalie lets in a stinker. Lohrei on the ice for 3 goals. 4-1 Wolverines. Lohrei could have done a better job of tying up his man on the 2nd goal. But I wouldn't say Lohrei play has been horrible. Michigan all over OSU.

Wolverine forwards had the whole Buckeye team on their heels all night. Terrible goaltending from OSU. Netminder. Lohrei did get an apple and was on the ice when OSU scored there last goal. That reach of Lohreis is definitely a plus. Breaks up lots of passes.

How did Lohrei look matched up against Fantilli? How much more noticeable s Hughes than Lohrei?

I can't comment specifically on Fantilli but Lohrei had a rough game defensively. He was directly responsible for 3 goals against (though the OSU goalie didn't offer much support). He had some decent moments offensively as he was much more aggressive than he typically has been this year with OSU trailing the entire game.
Hughes had a fairly quiet game from what I remember but a) it was his first game back from injury & b) the game was a blowout so he may have been playing it safe.

Funny, and I agree, but won't help him get playing time.
If he can just not piss off management too much for the rest of the year, their might be some openings
next year and he can play.

So management is not playing him because he’s feisty? Yea, sorry, don’t buy it. And he’s being feisty because he’s not being played, not the other way around

You’ll never see me making excuses for management, of any kind, when it comes to “pay your dues” BS when someone has clearly earned a spot with their performance

Greer is a career tweener and Lauko makes the team better because he brings something very few on the bruins have let alone show on a consistent basis: unrelenting speed and puck pursuit. His shot ain’t half bad either

Play the kid

Greer is more effective at this point.
