Wow. What a night. After the emotional low of the two pathetic hack screw jobs on the no goal and handling the puck in the crease, I wanted this one so bad I was trembling with anger...on the Kuraly winner I ran a lap around the house waking the neighbors, I'm sure.

It's pathetic the favoritism in this league...the NHL has been shamelessly hammering the Bruins...I wanted Cassidy to yell "one time! One ****ing time" at those poutine lovers in stripes. How emphatically would they be pointing at the goal if Karlsson banged that rebound home? "Oh, he tried to get out of the way, rebound contact. We have a good goal." No way they're taking that away from Team Canada.

And the puck in the crease. They just stood there with their thumb in their *****. Let's see how pathetic we can be on this one, boys. "The puck didn't cross the line. No goal!"

No ****. Way to focus on the obvious. Gotta love the guy laughing about it on the bench as he covers his mouth. Wouldn't want to embarrass the league. They're so good at doing it themselves. They work hard at it.

So the justice of Kuraly's winner was truly karmic. As OT wore on I pondered how we were gonna get one. It was so difficult to create chances. But I held hope knowing that Anderson is beatable when he doesn't face a tun of shots.

Sweet justice. Happy to be heading home.

Feels like we're back from the dead. House money. Truly, Zombie Bruins Nation.

Oh, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Rask. He played his best hockey at the most important time. There it is. That's earning that contract. He stole this one.

Joe Morrow was very good tonight. I like his agility. He controls the puck on both sides of the stick pretty well while moving quick. If he can keep his coverage tight...

Wow. I thought he was terrible. Fell down at least 3 times allowing forwards to blow by him. Gave the puck away at a few critical times as well. I guess maybe he was somewhere in between.

Joe Morrow has stepped up. Playing about as well as he can play. Were there huge gaffe moments? Sure. That's always to be expected. Morrow at his best is still flawed. All I can really ask is he's putting forth his best game, and I do think we're getting that.

There's just no way I put Spooner back in there at this point. Hasn't earned it.

You're absolutely right. Spooner doesn't deserve it, but Cassidy will put him back in the lineup, and say it's due to experience.

If I was coach, I would bring up another kid from Providence.

Look at Kuraly and McAvoy. They had no NHL playoff experience, but actually helped the B's come back from the dead tonight.

Without them in the lineup tonight, the B's season is over.

Sometimes experience is over-rated compared to fast skating rookies who are so excited to be part of the team, they give the veterans a spark with all their energy..... like Seguin did in 2011 and Krug a few years ago.

I'd rather go with high energy rookies who make things happen, than stale veterans who are just going through the motions.

The Pastrnak goal was nice, assuming Marchand meant to pass that. The other two were flukes. Let's face it, we can't rely on "Shawn Kuraly" to provide most of our offence. We need our offensive leaders (Bergeron) to come through with REAL, non-flukey, non-goaltender interference goals.

I agree we need even more out of the top line, but I don't consider the GWG a fluke. And not just because it shouldn't even have been necessary due to the bogus disallowed goal.

Starting with the coach, he had the right personnel on the ice. It was a clean face-off win (Backes) to the point. McAvoy got the puck toward the net quickly, making it tougher for Ottawa to block. With Anderson playing the shot, Backes redirected it toward Kuraly who knocked it in a yawning cage.

It was a clutch hockey play, with strong execution.

You're missing the stick lift on Karlsson by Kuraly that allowed him to get the backhander off. To me, that's what makes it a good goal and not flukey at all.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! It's 2am and I just finshed the game. Almost heard a spoiler in the car but quickly changed the station.

Don Sweeny had the best reaction of the night. If my lip reading is correct, his words following the OT goal were, "SEAN KURALY! F'ING SEAN F'ING KURALY!!! F YEAH!"

Win or lose, I'm excited about some of the Bruins prospects going forward.

Kuraly and McAvoy quite possibly are bona fide impact players the B's will have in their lineup for years to come.

Exit Spooner, Beleskey, Hayes and Quaider just to name a few, to make room for some young guns, and the B's may well have a bright future.

i don't remember the exact quote, but he was definitely talking about a player, just a young one (ie Wideman)

Correct. Butch was asked what was said on the bench to rally the guys when they were down 2-0. He said the Krejci hit was more of a rallying point. He's a respected vet who has proven himself in the league and some of the guys didn't appreciate a young guy chirping him. Of course, I'm paraphrasing.

You know. When Savvy feels it. When Denna Laing feels it. I feel it. I believe in this team. They were resilant. They overcame the biases. They earned it.

Get Savvy to be the banner waver for Game 6.

This has to be the turning point. We're winning this series. F*** the Sens. F*** the Refs. F*** the NHL.

The series is for the taking. Here's hoping Carlo, Darth Quaider and or Krug can get back into the lineup and the Krejci will be alright.

Sleep well tonight guys. Sleep well.

Thanks for wearing the tank top, and my Clemson shirt helped too. Good Night Mione!

EK was cramping up during the second ot which helped. Big Z playing big min today looking mean tonight. The hit on DK no call was terrible you know If it was Marchand he get throw out. How in the world do they call goalie interference I almost cost myself a Tv. Even JR onTv said the Bruins were robbed. Now if they can Ottawa winning in Boston. I hope the roof is blown off Sunday

Just watched the highlights and just lost it for Kuraly's celly on the GWG. Very happy for the kid!

Rask looked shaky in the first half of the game but seemed to redeem himself for 2nd half and OTs.

Congrats for the win, I'm rooting for you to take the series!

Man, that was intense. Got up in the middle of the night around 3.30 and saw the score at 2-2 mid-third and had to watch it unfold. Ended up staying in the couch until the end at 5.30 or so. That was drama at a high level. Almost threw it away a couple of times on silly penalties, but boy was Tuukka huge in the closing stages and OT. Yuuuge!

Good thing it was Friday night anyway, so I got to sleep in a bit. And the next one is a Europe-friendly time, I sure appreciate those.

Gotta love playoff hockey. ****ing Sean ****ing Kuraly!

What a game! The Bruins showed heart and determination and Tuukka was a brick wall. The Sens really aren't very good and the refs have kept them in these games. That is disheartening as a fan but I'm glad the players made a statement.

Next game, take it to them, target Karlsson like they started to in this game. If someone could crush Wideman and Stone, that would be great. Dirty, dirty players.
