He can keep dreaming of Nash while the rest of dream of Sean Kuraly

I am in such a great mood today I may send Sean Kuraly a 'thinking of you' card

My dog benefited as she got extra time at the dog park I was so happy

my dog suffered, the double OT I finished watching this morning delayed a full walk, had to start his day with a quick one out back until I was done. It`s my world, he just lives in it:laugh:

So I had a function I had to attend last night so I wasn't able to watch the game so I dvr it and go into full media blackout mode so I don't get a spoiler....so I go to watch the game on my dvr and get all the way to the end of the first OT intermission only to have the dvr kick off and stop recording there.....:madfire:

Happy they won but I am so pissed off about having to just risky click my way to finding out who won the game.....so ****ing aggravating.

I'm gonna go kick my dog.

I'm not really going to kick my dog......

that sucks, I`m guessing you don`t have the option to record "extra time" with sporting events with your provider?

I had to do the same, I haven`t a clue why I punched in 120 minutes of extra time recording, call it a hunch , grateful I did

I use windows media center and a home theater pc network in my house, one drawback is you can only extend recording time 30 min or you have to just set up to record whatever is on after the game to catch anything after the additional 30 min.

I forgot.

Lesson learned.

I did this with the Superbowl. My recording ended 30 seconds after the ot touchdown.

So I'm watching the game with my wife last night, who very rarely watches.
On the disallowed OT goal as soon as it goes to review I say it won't count.
My wife says "Why" ?
I'm like, they'll make up some excuse, and sure enough.

My audio went out for like most of the OT, so if someone could explain a few things
about the disallowed goal, it would be appreciated.

The ref was right there, right behind the net, and must have seen the puck
cross the line. I heard the ref ruled no goal on the ice. Did they say why
he ruled no goal ?
From my audio I thought the goalie interference came from Toronto.

McAvoy has been huge. Amazing play for a 19 year old with no nhl experience.

Any chance Carlo can be back for game 6. I heard he was skating a few days ago.

I still believe if they were anywhere near healthy the roles would be reversed. It would most likely already be over.

agreed Wally

I`ll come clean here, on the thread where there was a poll on who`d win/how many games came up here I picked the Sens in 6 but not because I felt they were a powerhouse team but I saw no indication this season that our boys could fight through that gawd awful trap and injuries to Krug and Carlo (at that time) were just going to be too difficult to for the boys to absorb

While I have found this series to be terribly difficult to watch as far as having any consistent entertainment value, for this team to force a game 6, with all the injuries they have has to be incredibly worrisome to the Sens. I know they have guys playing less than 100% but there`s playing hurt, and being injured and I just never anticipated our boys being able to handle all the injuries.

Then when Quaider went down, and C Miller was lost for a bit, I really felt like :help:

Unreal guts and resilience shown by this team. As painful as it is to watch the Sens, to fall behind 3-0 in one game, 2-0 in another and come back against a team that prides itself on not giving up leads like that is unbelievable

Hmmmmm........

In Cassidy’s mind, the game turned in the B’s favor when Wideman took out Krejci. With Krejci in pain, Wideman apparently had some words for the B’s center.

“I think with the hit on Krejci, when they started chirping Krejci, that rankled (us) a little bit,†said Cassidy. “It’s one thing to play hard. It’s another thing with a veteran guy in the NHL, a proven performer, and a young kid starts lipping him. I think that really got to our guys to be honest and turned the temperature up in the game.â€

nice, Kuraly with a double whammy on Wideman, first blasts him and takes the puck, then banks the puck off him to tie it up

Not yakking now are ya Chrissy:yo:

Then run them through the boards. Acciari put a big legal hit on Dzingel. Need more of that. Sens have had a few knees so far as well as constant shots after the whistles. Need to put them in their place.

Heh; I did 3 full walks. Our oldest gal actually benefitted with going leash-free since there was barely anyone outside at that time.

Agreed. It's amazing that they're still in it despite all the injuries. This is basically the Bergeron line and a bunch of Providence B's doing this.

Lonnie, seriously. Have you been kidnapped? Is this a cry for help?

I've been posting here for 8 years and I don't think I've ever seen you this positive. Even after the cup.

10 years of being beat down by boring, trapping, defense only hockey will do that to you. I'm truly enjoying the fact that people can now see how much of an issue and negative impact Claude's stubborn attitude was for this team. Hockey is supposed to be entertainment, and the last 3 years in particular were very much the polar opposite of that.

Sens board is remarkably calm as I just jumped over there. Many of them seem to think this is done (which I don`t agree with) but hammering Boucher for being too insistent on sitting back (sounds familiar) and his system being exposed (not sure I agree), they acknowledged how short handed the B`s are and how our "depth" has really shined

Now, not sure I agree with everything there but I was anticipating more paranoia over there but they seemed to be posting some pretty rational things, they sure don`t sound like a confident bunch.

I don't disagree, especially on the last 3 years, but I find your positivity to be unsettling. I don't like change. This is going to take me some time to process.
