DJ Bean said that if Krejci can't return for game 6 spooner should hopefully play?

I just threw up in my mouth, a lot!

He also said that they NEED to resign Spooner as an RFA
and that Moore "had a great game?" WTH?:shakehead

DJ Bean (bless him) is a ****ing idiot.

There's just no way I put Spooner back in there at this point. Hasn't earned it.

Not only that, hes a ****ing liability. No, just no. Even on the PP. Everyone knows he wont shoot, as predictable as Marchand's pull up on the half wall on every rush

Excellent reference- Lunch Pail Gang so apt

Almost-Claude like. Spooner and company play too fluffy a game for the playoffs. Honestly right now to beat this trap you have to beat them to every 50/50, hit them like crazy, block shots, make quick short passes, and shoot every single chance you can.

None of this stretch pass that hits 5% of the time, or cute stuff anymore. Play a heavy hard game and be smart. End.

There's just no way I put Spooner back in there at this point. Hasn't earned it.

I wouldn't put him in even with Krejci hurt. This isn't a tempo for him and he does not have fight in him. Great talent, zero balls/heart

Wow, what a lucky win. Rask saved our *****. Bergeron has a new lease on life, a chance to finally do something offensively instead of going home an abject failure. Come on Patrice, carry this team to victory.

The team as a whole needs to play better for us to win the next game. We all know that Rask is no workhorse, and he just played a lot of hockey. We can't realistically expect him to be as brilliant as he was tonight in Game 6. On the other hand, Game 7 (if there is one) will take place on Wednesday following a two day break, so that should go a long way towards giving Tuukka the rest he needs. Hopefully the Bruins forwards will be inspired by this win and pick up the slack in the next game.

Lol that bad?

I wouldnt honestly be happy to never see him dressed for the Bruins again, he is that bad. If I am Sweeney, I am giving Vegas a pick just to take him in the expansion draft. Get him off the books. Its a real shame, he was so excited to sign with Boston, and hios first season he was ok, but this year he has looked like a guy they signed out of a beer league that cant even handle a pass on the tape. he had a bad knee injury but it was before that too. He's literally just lost it, it is seriously bizarre.

The Pastrnak goal was nice, assuming Marchand meant to pass that. The other two were flukes. Let's face it, we can't rely on "Shawn Kuraly" to provide most of our offence. We need our offensive leaders (Bergeron) to come through with REAL, non-flukey, non-goaltender interference goals.

Thing is in the playoffs you get so many of those greasy goals. In theory he scored 3 tonight. That's not luck. You make your own luck throwing lots of rubber at Andy.

A lot of heart displayed tonight...

Rask delivers in OT. Have to say I haven't been happy with him this series but he was excellent in OT.

Kuraly, Backes and McAvoy FTW. All Sweeney pickups. Good on Donny.

Cassidy with some tough moments in this game, but I liked the move to put Backes at C, and it led to the GWG.

I've been waiting all season for Backes at center.

Hmmm....well, id rather take goals however they can. Don't care if they're darts that beat goalies clean or mucked out of the crease goals. Goals are goals. I agree we need 'the' guys to step up, especially Marchand, its like they're clenching the stick a little too tight and are more inclined to make the pretty pass instead of just shoot for rebounds. And my god, if Marchand doesn't stop pulling up on the half wall on every single rush Im going to kill myself. The Sens even know it cos he makes the move 99% of the time.

Zack Smith was chasing Marchand and you could actually see the moment he stopped skating and glided towards the half wall cos he knew Marchand was gonna pull up and turn back to the blue line and just stripped him as soon as he turned his body. Kuraly showed everyone tonight what needs to be done. Skate that damn puck to the net and get a goal, shooting from outside the circles may be nice when they go in but the Sens literally cue up and block them. Take it low and get diiiiirrrrrrrty
