Wow, disgraceful play by Sweden's defense. All Swedes should be embarrassed by this showing. I get its a consolation game, but have some pride.

I understand losing a bronze game by one or two goals because you don't feel like playing, but to get slaughtered like this is just embarrassing. Have some pride and give your best effort even if you don't end up achieving what you set out to do.

just hand the two teams both bronze-medals and be done with it.
after watching the intensity of Fin-Can and Fin-Swe games, this game reminds me of some hobby-league (intensity-wise).

Well to play in a national team, you give your best performance everygame, even in a bronze game. I think many of swedish fans dont like this either, i feel bad for them.

sheesh - do the Swedes hate their goalie? They're like an offensive line that doesn't block because they want their QB to get slaughtered. Some of the forward seem to be skating hard but the defense looks like they just want to go home

Yeh. Ridiculous.

If I'm a guy like Grundstrom, Forsbacka-Karlsson, Lindblom or a few others I would be so pissed off at the Dmen... they have been going to the hard areas, grinding on the boards etc... and the D as a unit have just gone 'nah, not going to actually put any effort in today.'

Exactly. There has been an air of entitlement from them. It was similar when they lost to Finland in Malmö. There was no question from them that they would not win the gold, but things played out differently. Perhaps it's time to come down from the clouds and start approaching this tournament with some humility.

Well, they're kids, with Grönborg as a coach, and they're from Sweden. A country where a bronze means nothing unless it's in a sport we majorly suck at(such as soccer).

Russia deserves to be playimg for Gold. They outplayed the US the last two periods.

It was the same against Slovakia last year...

Sweden and swedes do have pride we just simple dont care about a bronze game, if this would have been a gold medal i would have been mad as f right now but now im just enjoy good scoring
