GDT: Bronze Medal Game

A medal is better than nothing. Better to leave a tournament on a high note. Now they look like spoiled brats that don't want to play anymore because they didn't get what they wanted. Entitled much?

The only one that is pathetic is you and your Russian team that dident even mange to get a ****ing medal in the olympic tournament wich your president clearly stated was the only medal who counted:laugh:

where his Dmen also decided they were not going to play any D or defend the crease.

4 goals where D have let US forwards get position near the net without so much as a touch.

2 goals where D have been caught up ice leading to 2v1.
 
Grönborg ?? is he really the correct coach for a junior team ? Mårts was a good junior coach, i doubt Grönborg is. Dont seem to know how to motivate players and dont give them the calm juniors need in high pressure game, like yesterday.

I'm not even watching the game, that's how much I care about their performance and the end result. That silly game yesterday was the end of the tournament.

The bronze is so ridiculously redundant, they could just as well stop having a bronze medal game.
 
It seems the usa has more energy today than yesterday which proved to me they crapped the bed against Russia. It was their let down game and unfortunately the one that cost them the gold.
 
And these sweds got robbed of GMG by the refs yesterday. And these americans couldnt do anything against russians. Thought Finland is a favourite tonight in the final. Not so much right now.

You're not really missing much. Americans aren't really playing like they're all too interested either, but someone has to actually win the game. It's kind of a "no you take it" "no you take it" "NO YOU TAKE IT" "well fine then" game.

If he can't motivate juniors, how is he going to motivate our senior players in the World Champs? This doesn't look good. Feeling lot's of fourth places coming up. But hey, now I'm just angry.

Agreed. The only time I care about silver or bronze is during the Olympics when they add to the total medal count.
 
On a side note.

Screw the World Championships in spring.
WJC is more entertaining than see the old goats fight for Gold medal.

i like MÃ¥rts, Swedens U20 should take him back, if he wants to. Dont know if u guys in Sweden like him though

And no i dont generally hate Russians its the direct opposite acctually.
 
Mathews is really proving he's on a different level from any other player in this tournament.

There are no excuses for the Swedish team. Of course they want to win this game, this is what it usually looks like when we play the US.

That's because the actual best player in the tournament played a total of 10 minutes this tournament. Maybe not a fair comparison though, as Nylander is already drafted and is playing in NHL soon.
 
Well, it's obvious Sweden didn't care one bit about this game

Bronze medal games is the worst thing anyway. You play for gold, nothing else.
 
Maybe our players don't care about the bronze, but I sure as hell do. They represent a whole country, not just themselves. I can't understand this lack of motivation, this is the last WJC for some of them and maybe even the last chance to play for Sweden.

They also had a "good talk" with the psychologist after the loss yesterday. What the **** did he tell them? "It's just a game"?

I'm 100% positive that we need an old school american coach, no ********.
