GDT: Bronze Medal Game

I'm going to go on a limb and say starting Sandstrom today was not as adept a coaching move as pulling Vehvilainen yesterday.
 
OK, I get that Sweden "does not care" about bronze. But man, this is just brutal effort. Those guys need to step up their game. They are professionals and even if they don't feel like it, they should even look like they are giving half assed effort. This is just brutal effort.

Shoulder for play, crossbar for legal goal. Been like that for a long time. So if the puck is played over the shoulder it is whistled down unless played by the other team. But it also has to be below crossbar for a legal goal.

Good maybe now Grönborg doesn't get the job as HC for the 'big boys'

Pathetic excuse. Sweden is not that great to treat this tournament "gold or nothing". They won 1 gold in God knows how long

Tbf quite a lot of the forwards have forechecked hard, worked hard and gone to dirty areas...

but the D as a unit looks like they would rather be anywhere else... just waving sticks instead of bodying guys and letting US forwards do what they want and go where they want without having to pay for it.

Judging anyone based on what they've done this game is a joke.

I think there's a certain Finnish lad who may have something to say about Auston. ;)

I believe it's actually kinda the other way around: TSN has the broadcast rights and it's their feed that simply is the default one - but they want such extortant fees for using it that it's literally cheaper for Yle to haul their own multi-camera setup to the arena than it is to just buy TSN's feed.

So many games were not broadcast by Yle for the exact same reason - they couldn't afford it.
