Pathetic by Renberg to try find faults in Reway's game at every chance, when he was clearly the best skater on the ice. Guy outplayed every Swedish forward by a mile.

Last two games are on the coach as far as I'm concerned. You don't play two games like that in a row if you are well prepared. He'll get away with the age card though.

All that being said, Slovakia played the type of tournament I expected one of Switzerland or Czechs to potentially play. Three impressive wins over Finland, Czechs and Sweden and they deserved bronze. They also played this bronze game with less rest and their semi was more draining than the one Sweden played.

+ our players and coaches had health issues (inflammation bronchi). It was questionable if we will have 2 lines available in this game.

I am a Leafs fan that saw Salming play, he was one of the greatest Maple Leafs in history. Nothing for admiration for Swedish hockey and players. Sundin and Salming, 2 players I respect immensely.

Saying that, I have to concur. My fellow Leafs fans will disagree with me. But Nylander plays with a serious lack of urgency you need in big games. I don't know why, in back to back big games there is really no excuse for this.

No i was cheering for Slovakia this game! after yesterdays game i was so pissed of on Nylander along with Aho i dident even felt sorry for the guys they got screwd that game...
