I don't think you know what this word means. Quite funny to see your babbling throughout this thread.

I wish I could converse on a forum in a language that isn't native to me. Add on to that the fact he's using English in a pretty clever manner, is going strictly on phonics, echoter, litterly, and I'm nothing but thoroughly impressed. It's one thing to just try and convey a message, but to repeatedly attempt smack talking?! Super impressive!

For you to reference it as babble, and make fun of his understanding of English is kinda lame.

I dont cheers for Slovakia lol... just this game cuz i was so disapointed on this swedish team...

WHC barly watch it:laugh: just watching Olympics and WJC:D so hoppfully i wont see him... at all

Trying to be funny now? the only thing this kid will win is maybe sweden hockey game or something like that...

Seriously man. We get your upset that Sweden missed out on a medal but give your head a shake. If you wanna call out a player, call out the ones that deserve it ( Hagg, De La Rose, Soderstrom, Aho, Holmstrom). Your ramblings are bordering on irrational. Keep your head up, next year the Swedish 18 year old group that practically carried the team will be 19

This is just awesome.

Love seeing teams win a bronze when it means so much to them. The Swedes really weren't expected to do a great deal this tourney but they performed well early and expectations swelled. Then they lost the two most imprtant games they had.

Assuming NHL players will be at the Olympics again he'll be on the 2022 team when he's 25, and maybe 2018 when he's 21.

They do in my household! I'm Slovak, I just live in Czechia. Czech wife and half-Czech kids will have to put up with a drunk father tonight (and a hungover father tomorrow). :yo:

Doesn't sound too different than in Canada. Families split by who they cheer for. If Quebec splits from Canada it will be shared allegiances for many.

Yeah i think you are right... my disapointment get to far... well now we looking forward for a good game between Russia and Canada:cheers: maybe that will cheer me up!

Don't make me even sader that i'm already is:cry:

On one hand, the Swedes were looking for a much better outcome in this tournament, but just like Canada, the bronze doesn't feel that great anyway.

When you see a team like Slovakia so happy, it kind of puts into perspective how difficult it is to succeed at all in this tournament when you are not one of the top 5 or 6 teams coming into it.

Nice to see the Slovak kids so happy, and I am sure that since Sweden has such a young team, a lot of those kids will have their turn at winning next year. A tough experience, but it will make them better in the future.

Well, I guess the lesser of the evils or something like that? Sweden was extremely vulnerable defensively all tournament long, that´s for sure.

Well I'm not saying he's going to be an allstar or anything but he was used a LOT against every teams top players and did OK. He looked bad in the first half of the first game, no doubt, but he settled down after that and I'm fine with the way he played.

I've watched a ton of him in the AHL this year and I think he's looked really good there, better than at the WJC for sure. I think we all expected a bit more from him since this is his third tournament and he's been playing in the AHL and SHL for a while now, but I didn't see anything here that really worried me or made me dislike him.

Wife doesn't care about hockey (or any sport for that matter) so she cheers for Slovakia just to see me happy. Kids are true Czechoslovaks I guess. They speak fluent Czech to their mother and their Czech friends, fluent Slovak to me and their Slovak friends, but they cheer for Slovakia because hockey is serious business and I will not allow cheering for any other team under my roof!

Anyway, cheers! What a great night...

Lack of experience

95 was a really bad year.

How do you know that when there was so few if them?. The problem is actually that there are so few of them in this team. This team need more players that are competing against men rather than playing in the juniors, look at Russia. On D you have solid players like Eidstedt, Dahlström, Pilut and Westlund in SHL and Hansson in AS that did not make the team. Not flashy but solid and more mature in the game.

It's good that Czechs and Slovaks like hockey and not (just?) football. ;)

Dat Slovak anthem ... So proud

Is there a more beautiful sound in the world?

Anyway, Laphroaig bottle has been successfully conquered, let's see what other treats the liquor cabinet holds  I can't even get drunk, the adrenaline is too strong.

Foreigners have no idea what this means to us...
