That should be a very easy sign.
Got to ditch Boeser before signing another winger.

Waive Boeser, sign Kuzmenko. I would do it tonight.

Trade him for picks and prospects already.
Guy is worth a fortune and the trade will benefit the team for years to come.
Do you honestly think we could get anything for him? I was thinking he’d clear waivers but I’m dumb so …I’m probably wrong 🤣😅😫

The trade deadline is March 3rd......if the Canucks haven't signed either Horvat or Kuzmenko, what do they do?

For a team in the Canucks position losing either guy as a UFA in the off-season with no compensation, would be borderline disastrous.

Seems to me we could see both guys gone by the deadline.....but that's the price you might have to pay for having one of the worst payrolls in hockey.

I actually think that’s a great photo -parents look like they’ve lived a tough life in Russia but their son is all smiles, well adjusted and a seemingly decent guy. They’ve don’t a good job.

If you believe JR, anyone but Petey is available and Hughes only for the right price. On the other hand he says they want to resign Kuz. Up to this point I didn't think JR would really go slash and burn and the re-signings of BB and JR certainly didn't say that. But now maybe he will go nuclear and basically take offers on anything worth trading. Hogs and Pods aren't coming up this year until there is a new coach.Which means possible not until next season. The major difference so far between the elder Ewing, his chipmunk and he who shall not be named, is they actually may trade some of the assets. Horvath, Schenn, and possibly Kuz and BB could be traded. Brock could be seen as the kind of reclamation project player JR is talking about looking fo another teamr. I like Kuz, I think he does what Brock doesn't ,but if a team offers a serious future team piece go for it, ditto Brock. Almost all of the players the Canucks have to trade aren't bringing you a 1st RD Draft Pick, but they may bring you a solid 3C or other positions which are as important long term, as compared to the group of soft wingers the Canucks have now.

I think you mean if I believe the media...

I think they should give him 7x7 as Wild gave to Boldy. He's better than Boldy, at least right now and probably for a few more years, and he's UFA not RFA. 27-34 is primary ages nowadays, especially given he played most of his career in the KHL, which is way less demanding physically so he should be in better physical conditions than similar age NHLers.

Scoring wingers are not hard to find.

We already have wingers in BB, Miller, Mikheyev and Garland on multiyear contracts they are not outperforming. And all our legit prospects are wingers..

Lets not add a 7x7 to that pile.

Isn't Kuzmenko better than any of those wingers but Miller? And even Miller isn't better than Kuzmenko this season.

NO $HIT.
I cannot believe there are people here and elsewhere who think that adding another $6M+ player is the answer.
MAXIMIZE TRADE RETURN FOR ALL UFAS.
