Bridgeport getting blown out 6-1 tonight in providence, all the Thompson haters who never watched this team should watch this team now that lacks any structure or any team cohesiveness. Skarek stinks also, Appleby at least gives them Ahl level goaltending when Skarek does every now and then. They need a number one center also, can’t believe I paid for Ahl tv to watch c lol.

Of course it wasn’t Thompson’s fault. He was just a convenient punching bag for people who don’t understand what was going on with the Islanders lack of spending on the Sound Tigers for many years.

id love to see a veteran Ahl center imported, they just have zero talent and it’s hurting their skilled wing prospects like Maggio.

He probably regrets it other than money Chicago gave him because Chicago stinks also.
The Wolves are an odd duck now that they're the only independent team left in the AHL. All they get are players on loan from NHL teams and AHL vets.

So they're ass?

Cool. Bridgeport badly needs a change either way. I feel like the baby isles are just a god damn mess still, just like the baby Mets. They really need to fix this organization up, and fast. Its kinda worrisome because they really can't develop much outside of Holmstrom and Nelson for forwards.

Not a center, but what about sending Holmstrom down to reset while they sort out Fasching/Gauthier/Wahlstrom?

Tbh Holmstrom is at point where I feel he’s earned his spot in NHL.
Agree. At this point Fasching and Gauthier sink or swim on the minutes they get due to player injuries. They either make something of it, or they don't. There really isn't anything to figure out with them... if they sink, the Isles just move on to the next AHL/NHL depth player.

Parker Wotherspoon returns to Bridgeport and no tribute video???

Somehow the AHL devised a schedule that has Bridgeport playing 8 of their 10 games this month on the road. They were home December 2 and don't return until Dec 27th. By that time there won't be a reason to bother to buy a ticket to see them play.

They also need serious help up front, if they think Wahlstrom will get claimed they should see if they can swap him for someone exempt to waivers.

They need help everywhere. Up front, blue line, in net.
