My first trip up to Bridgeport tonight. I’m pleased to report they still sell the same hot dogs as always. One will last me through the game and the 52 miles back to Queens.

Riley Nash makes in 2-0 Hartford. Isles get caught in the middle of a line change and Hartford has numbers in their O zone. Nash scores one from the doorstep. Skarek couldn’t do anything about either goal.

Temperature of this game is rising. Wolf Pack carrying their sticks high finishing their checks.

3-0. Another goal for Nash. Picks Grant Hutton’s pocket in the neutral zone and finishes the breakaway.

Sounds like they're doing just as well as the NHL club.
Same thing here. This one is a heavy game, but haven’t seen any sustained pressure at 5v5 by the Isles. Not a game where Ishkakov can show his skills. Maggio hasn’t had a SOG thru nearly 2 periods. Nobody stands out for us.

Isles lose 3-0

A little more open ice in the 3rd period benefitted the Isles. Had some better looks in the O zone but couldn’t get anything past Dylan Garand.

Any info on why Dufour was scratched aside from he is probably not playing great? Things just keep getting better and better with this organization.

Thanks in advance

4 goals in 11 games on the next to worst offense in the AHL.

Call him up as part of a shakeup, but don't be surprised if he doesn't amount to much here. The NHL is a big boys league.
I agree, but seeing Rusty just put his head down and skate as hard as possible in a straight line towards the net AND finish off the game with a nice tuck was just awesome sheer willpower.

Haven’t seen…I don’t know…Casey Cizikas skate that hard in years… ;)

I hear you. Again, I'm not against someone being called up on merit to rattle some cages in the UBS locker room. I just don't see much coming out of Ishkakov in the NHL.

William Dufour was scratched again yesterday. Poor play or injured? Getting info about the AHL Isles is even tougher than the parent club.

B-Isles are just loaded with forward depth…you’re not going to get playing time if you’re not performing.

Right now the Asselin + Iskhakov duo is their best scoring punch, Asselin has 5 points in his last 6.

It feels weird saying this but I hope it’s due to a minor injury rather than attitude/poor play.

I understand the discipline aspect if it’s related to poor play but that would warrant no more than a one game scratch. These are kids that need ice time as much as possible.
