See if our new 'Bruise Brothers' can skate . . .Anyone know his play style?
If Anders Lee can make the NHL with his skating, basically anyone can if they bring enough intangibles.

Seems like quite the improvement over 5 years agoAt the moment, the AHL team is looking as follows...
Forwards:
Durandeau - Andreoff - Dufour
Iskhakov - MacLean - Maggio
Kuefler - Koivula - Holmstrom
Piercey (AHL) - Pivonka (AHL) - Newkirk
Dmen:
Salo - Hutton
Cholowski - Ladue
Mitchell - Fulp
Krygier (AHL)
Goalies:
Lennox, Appleby
RFAs:
Skarek, Bolduc, Wilde, Adams, Jenkins
Possible UFA returnees:
Sevigny, Terry, Bardreau, Kubiak
ELCs in Europe:
Odelius, Liukas
Interested to see what eventually gives. Seems like a bit of a logjam on the defensive end. Would really like to sign Sevigny to an NHL deal, and I wonder about Bolduc. Maybe Bolduc gets the full time call up?At the moment, the AHL team is looking as follows...

Looks like he is backI can't see Chris Terry not returning either
Doubt itCan Ishakov challenge for an NHL roster spot with a very strong camp? I feel like his game adds some dimensions that we can really use. Hopefully he looks good enough to be the first injury replacement call-up.

Of course, but the player needs to earn the spot on the team. I don’t see Ish good enough to earn a spot.Sooner or later the organization needs to allow some of the guys on ELC's to get a true shot.
Watching him all year he has NHL skills and NHL offensive instincts. He competes well, isn’t afraid of traffic or board play for a player his size. The downside is for his size he isn’t a good skater, hes not slow persay but not explosive. Id compare him a bit to PA Parenteau, skilled guy who just isn’t a good skater to match his puck skills. All that said I do think he can be NHLer and perhaps be a guy who can get 40-50 points especially since he is very good on the PP.Of course, but the player needs to earn the spot on the team. What's the word on Sevigny?? Getting a little worried that we're not going to retain him.
With Krygier signing, you probably don't need both of them, since they seem to be a similar playerThere's surely an AHL-deal on the table and he's busy seeing if he can't get something better elsewhere in the meantime.
Not a guy worthy of one of the 50 contracts at this point, IMHO.

With Worherspoon out of the picture there’s still room for Sevigny. He had a good year. I’d like to see if he can keep developing. With Krygier signing, you probably don't need both of them, since they seem to be a similar player
Wotherspoon is out, but we signed two collegiate undrafteds. There might have been something in Sevigny that turned the organization off about him. Or maybe he didn't want to sign here, or even decided to play hockey in Europe? With Worherspoon out of the picture there’s still room for Sevigny. He had a good year. Andreoff just led the league in scoring and is 32.
Me thinks he wants a raise on that instead of the 300k he was about to get. Cash in while you can.
The AHL contracts are coming in now.
Yes Goal scoring with 37Goalscoring, right?
Interesting. I had to check at Eliteprospects to figure out he's been released.
Thought he was already under contract.
I'd have to think he's off to Europe now.
