I've been wanting DeBoer since the beginiing of our collapse. Glad to hear it's a strong possibility. Good coach, got to the cup final, New Jersy almost made the playoffs this year but they are a bunch of geezers not really his fault.

If we moved Kadri and Lupul for defensive help and a more physical center, we could EASILY move to the trap. Kessel is the only real skill player we have.

Eric staal maybe?

Bring up ashton, D'amigo, ross, etc

He has a DEGREE in exercise physiology? Nonis would never go with a guy like that, he sounds like an elitist nerd, just like all those advanced stats morons who kept saying this team was bad. Anyone who watches the Leafs exercise knows that they work harder than any other team in the league at riding the bike, you don't need some BS degree to see that!

That's because they clog up the neutral zone knowing the Leafs will quit once they're forced to play dump and chase.

They don't just run a neutral zone trap for sixty minutes every night.

Bruins Fitness and Strength coach has a degree in Physiology too. We have Belza.

Fitness and strength training also means quicker recovery for athletes. It's no wonder why the 3rd youngest team in the NHL, plays like old men on back to back nights.
 
This went quicker than I thought it would happen. Good stuff.

I don't see the PR angle to be honest, Shanahan is not a former Leafs star or anything. Let's hope TimmyL has a grand plan.

If you want players to play braindead and just have it in their mind to dump, forecheck, cycle to the point and shoot.

If you want your 4th liner grinder and fringe NHL player play over solid hockey players.

Better hope you dont have any young prospects up and coming, he wont play them... And if they do play, make one mistake and they are benched.

I've already had enough of Clarkson on the 2nd line. Under DumBoer, he'll likely be a mainstay on there lol... no to DumBoer.

ugh, this sounds depressing. hope shanahan doesn't hire him.

Like I thought Nonis will just be there like Sherman in Colorado. If he has any suggestions Shanhan will give him a wedgie and twist his *******.
