So how many games are we thinking?

Nah, they’ll just play Ylonen.Terrible play by Gally. Not like him. Not sure why and it doesn't matter. At least this means we're likely to see Roy back with the club until the suspension is done.
This is the NHL, so probably 2-3. Wish it was A LOT more.So how many games are we thinking?
I don't even care about his (lack of) production. At all.Montreal is rebuilding so even if if getting Gallagher out of the lineup would help (it wouldn't), the organization isn't looking at results but at approach and process. Gallagher's job is to be Gallagher and he's doing that. And him being paid to do a lot more doesn't really mean he should be out of the lineup.
So much disrespect for a player that gave his all to this team.
Yeah, it was a bad elbow, but he's one of us. Sickening to see the fanbase turn on him.
Love the guy but he's an obstacle and doesn't fit on any line...loyalty shouldn't buy you precious minutes that can go to someone else more useful.
Gallagher was always an arrogant, whiny dumbass. Now he's just more of those things, while his body's broken and he's out of shape. One of my most disliked Habs ever.
To think lots of people here wanted him captain at one point, I can't even begin to understand

It SHOULD be a lot more anyways.
His tendency this year to take bad penalties late in close games is concerning. Its cost us a few points this season which isnt a big deal in a rebuilding year but still.
You are joking, right? His cardio is just horrible, after 20 seconds of every shift we are basically playing PK as he is totally exhausted. With all respect to him, he definitely needs to go to LTIR next year, if we want to move on. Or at least put him to Pezzetta's spot when he plays 7 minutes per game.My brain literally melted reading this.
He's not arrogant, he's like the opposite of this, he's given his all no matter what. He cares for the team. And he's been in incredible shape this year. He's caused stuff to happen, he is scoring goals and he has a great cardio.
Guy Carboneau called him out on it (on TV, not sure MSL watch those) at the start of the season that you don't play Gallagher at the end of close games, everyone knows he's too tired. Why is the coach giving him a regular shift in those situations when his legs are burning 15 seconds into every shift?
one aspect of Gallagher that can never be faulted is his dedication & commitment to off season / off ice training. He’s always done it & is very disciplined doing so.You are joking, right? Who are these players? I'm not saying Gally is a world beater but I'm not sure anyone we've brought up over the course of the year have done much to sway Marty's decision making. That is true, he's given a lot to the team. But everyone's time comes to end. There are players behind him that are better and should be playing ahead of him. That's the reality of professional sports.

Rose coloured glasses man.......................people loved the guy back in the day. Now, when making more money and doing less, fans have that right to point out he is garbage....Difference between questioning his current value to the team and throwing him under the bus when the whole league craps on him for a dirty elbow.
You didn't hear NJ fans throwing Scott Stevens under the bus when he was crushing people with open ice hits, or EDM/NYR fans when Mark Messier was elbowing people every couple of games.
Are you sure, great cardio? The guy can't keep up, and can barely get back to the bench? My brain literally melted reading this.
