Yeah I was at the game and the play died every time he touched or was near the puck. It sucks cause I love the guy but he can’t contribute at all anymore.
 
One of the worst parts of his contract is it wasn't front loaded much and there are no signing bonuses which could've been paid by the Habs to help make it easier to unload his contract to team more focused on actual cash instead of the cap.

He's owned $19.5M the last 3 years of the deal and $9.5M next year which is f***ed.

Signing bonuses would make him buyout proof, so it’s a good thing there are none.
 
Gallagher had a good start of the season playing with "pace" and effort, but he obviously can't play a full 82 games and still be efficient. It's time to start some "load management" and give him some nights off because it's not looking pretty right now

Bad hit , but worst timing , had it been a rookie trying to make a name for himself I accept it .
But no it was a useless veteran wanting to make it about him , in a game we had under control . Mid ice hit in a game you leading by 2 goals can only mean look at me .

I gave him a long leash because of what he accomplished in the past. But now, i've seen enough.

He's detrimental to the team. Three more years at 6.5M... Holy f***.
 
If the league really wants to punish him they should give him a ten games suspension where we are forced to play him 25 minutes a night
